The second book of the artist duet is a beautiful, colorful finale.

The continuing story of Devlyn and Shelly is so beautifully written you can feel the love falling from the pages. You can “see” the colors in their world. 

These characters, especially Devlyn, are so complex and rich that it makes the reader really become one with him and, by association, Shelly. Devlyn’s path to self-forgiveness and self-discovery was powerful, and it was fulfilling to see. I was rooting for Devlyn’s success. 

Shelly is a beautiful soul; I could understand some of her hesitations. Her love for Devlyn was everything he needed, and in turn, Devlyn’s love for Shelly is what dreams are made of.

The relationship between Shelly and Devlyn is passionate and possessive. The chemistry is exactly what the other needs. To read how their love blooms and becomes even richer is poignant. 

Ms. Autumn has the ability to take the reader into the world she creates and makes the reader really become invested in her characters, and I found myself cheering them on to their happily ever after.

I wish I could see the artwork that Devlyn creates.

My Review...

I could wax poetic about Ms. Reid in a number of ways. Her fictional town of Green Valley is somewhere I would love to live! Even with the small-town gossip and rumors, I would get a one-way ticket.

This is the long-awaited (at least for me) story of Hank Weller.

Hank works for his black sheep reputation and gives zero flips about it. He knows what people say about him and his business. He revels in it. Until a gal from his past reemerges, and then he starts to reevaluate his priorities.

Charlotte is oblivious to the gossipmongers. She is solely focused on her children and her family. She will do anything for them, including working at Hank’s club. She remembers Hank from her past.

I absolutely loved reading the evolution of Hank. From his dislike of “disease vectors” to his surly attitude to Charlotte. It was heart melting and swoony! He is a hero that I would love to have save me!

If you are a long-time fan or even a new reader of Penny Reid, get your hands on this deliciously naughty and heartwarming story!

This second story in this series is hotter than hot!

This story of Aiden and Tori.

Aiden is swoony and the way that man talks….well let’s just say it’s spicy.

I liked the fact that Tori was cautious at first and I like how she was confident in herself and her world. And when she slowly introduced herself to Aiden it was quite the education.

The chemistry and flow of the relationship between Aiden and Tori was honest, organic and flow was spot on.

Ms. Lind really knows how to write a hockey romance and the way she describes everyday things makes the story more real and relatable. She has a down-home feel to her stories that I really enjoy.

This story is such a great addition to the Shockwaves series!

This new to me author blew me away with this story!

Filled with suspense, thrills, and a romance that is wicked hot, this is the story of Nico and Autumn. This is about family secrets and tragedy. This is a story of vengeance and revenge.

While Autumn is on the right side of the law, Nico, well, he straddles it a bit, and in a good way.

A killer on the loose, Autumn has ties to this killer, and she is trying hard to atone for things that happened in her past. She is a survivor with a heavy dose of survivor’s guilt that drives what she does.

Nico is the classic alpha male; add in the Italian background and “ciao calore“! He sees what he wants and goes after it. He is a bit of a bad boy with the heart of a gentleman, just the way I like them.

This is a fast-paced story that is going to keep you on the proverbial edge of your seat.

Mysteries, secrets, and silver foxes aplenty in this newest story from Ms. Dunbar.

This is the highly anticipated (at least for me) second book in the Fox sisters. 

This is Jane and Machlan’s story, and what a smexy ride it was!

Jane and Machlan have been working together for almost a decade. Their working relationship is a true testament to the saying, “There is a thin line between love and hate.”

Jane is the eldest Fox sister and takes that role seriously, always the one who takes care of everything and everyone. Sometimes that didn’t work in her favor.

Machlan has secrets buried deep and a hurt that has caused him to become the man his is today.

A beautiful town with a Scottish background is the setting for this story, and I want to live there! The town and its inhabitants help shape the relationship between Mach and Jane. It was beautiful and heartbreaking to see it unfold.

And wowza…the smexiness between Jane and Machlan is something for the record books! It’s fantastic to see vintage characters still have the spontaneity, cleverness, and downright hotness as their younger counterparts!

I am in love with this story, and is another sparkly gem in the crown of Ms. Dunbar’s writing crown!

Another fantastic story from the talented mind of Meghan Quinn.

Full of laughs, swoons, and heart, this story will take readers into the amazing world of Canoodle, a small town with a big-hearted community.

This is the story of Sawyer and Fallon. 

Fighting hard to save her grandparents legacy, Fallon is a fighter; she takes too much on and is too proud to ask for help when needed. Her love for her family shines through the pages, and I was cheering her on.

Sawyer is running from a life that has broken him down. When he lands in Canoodle, he doesn’t realize that his past is right in front of him. When he finds some clarity and companionship in a growly old man, he decides that he wants to help make the Cove vibrant again.

The chemistry between Fallon and Sawyer is amazing, and I absolutely swooned hard at the things that Sawyer was doing to take care of Fallon and Sully behind the scenes. I applauded his resiliency when faced with a dilemma of the heart.

As always the secondary characters in this story almost steal the show and make this story that much more vibrant.

Is this the last we will see of Canoodle? I hope not!

Ms. Renshaw spins a fabulous story dealing with heartbreak, secrets, and lies. This story is also about honesty and genuine love.

This is the story of Lachlan and Anneliese. 

Anneliese has been taken for a fool; she loves hard and fast with the wrong person. This person has taken advantage of her and her soft heart. When an accident takes him away, Anneliese is faced with the truth of her relationship she tries to harden her heart and make the best of what’s left of her life.

Enter Lachlan; he is a man with a plan for vengeance and closure. He wants to watch his past burn, figuratively and literally. When a roadblock known as Anneliese comes into his world, it’s tipped all askew.

The second branch of the Spearman family is just as addicting as the first!

In this newest story, we get Caspian and Rys.

First off, I absolutely love Rys’s real name. Polaris is perfect! I also loved this character, I could totally empathize with her, and I swear she is my spirit sister. She works hard, and she is a bit of an introvert, but when she gives her heart, she gives her all.

Caspian is such a swoony fella! Ms. Burgoa has the perfect way to make her heroes. Caspian never forgets the short time he spends with Rys; in fact, she makes a permanent mark on his heart, soul, and other places ;).

Their story is fun, and fresh and exposes both of them to some obstacles that they have to face, but through it all, you get the best of Ms. Burgoa’s writing talent.

Who doesn’t love a hockey player? I know I do! This story is another gem in the crown of talent that Claudia Burgoa owns!

Whew…what a story! Serendipity and fate play a cruel mistress in this new book by Ms. Shen.

This is the story of Ever. Three people, two love stories, and all the chaos that comes from it.

Ever is such a tragic soul. I was enamored with her darkness and her goth girl embrace. I like that she didn’t follow the mainstream. Just as her future was beginning, bright and beautiful a tragedy happens and changes her whole world outlook and how she decides how to live her life.

The men in her life come into her world at both the perfect time and at the worst. The angst of this story is so on point, and it made me invest even more in this story and to root for Ever and the man she was destined to be with. 

From the beautiful, tragic history of Salem to the beautiful shores of California and the world beyond Ms. Shen takes you on a journey that will keep you riveted to the pages and cheering Ever on as she navigates her world.
