Apologies are not necessary Ms. Dunbar! This highly anticipated story in the Lakeside series was absolute heart-wrenching perfection.

From “Let go” to heart-shaped rocks, this is the story of Anna and Mason.

The highs and lows of feelings from the two of them is realistic. Ms. Dunbar tackles the subject of loss and finding love again with grace, dignity, and respect. And as always, she fills it with a steaminess and swooniness that absolutely made me melt.

The timeline is perfect, flashing back to the past and seeing both Mason and Anna’s points of view during the most challenging time in both their lives and how they navigate through it.

I was looking forward to this story, the deep dive into the man that Mason is, and the feelings he had harbored for decades. To read Anna’s pure anguish and how she could finally see a future in front of her. Gahhh! Ms. Dunbar will take your heart and slowly pull it apart, only to put it back together, a little scared, a bit bruised and stronger than ever.

I don’t want this to be the end of the Spark sisters. I don’t want this to be the last we see of Spark House.

With that being said, this is the story of the youngest Spark sister, Harley. She has the biggest heart and her love of children shows in the pages. She carries a boatload of guilt that has made her the person she is, but is all that guilt warranted? Her desire to keep close to her sisters is both a blessing and a curse, but Harley comes through like a shining star through it all. 

Gavin and Payton have suffered a great loss. Gavin is an amazing father but struggles with himself. He keeps unpleasant feelings buried deep. When Gavin and Harley first meet, Harley was his saving grace when needed.

The flow and timeline of this story is beautifully done. Though years have passed, memories last and true feelings don’t fade away.

This is an emotionally wrought story. You are going to feel all the feels with this story. I caught myself getting misty, I felt myself smile, and I was swooning hard.

Never say never is what I am hoping for with this series finale….Ms. Hunting is a phenomenal writer and this series is one of the best.

Wowza, what a story! 

This is Holden and Sophie’s story, and what an epic and harrowing adventure it is!

A random hook-up and what happens in Vegas is a fuzzy memory for both Holden and Sophie. Both have moved on from that with marriages and a sweet bundle of joy.

Fast forward years later and Sophie is in a world of danger, a deathbed promise whisks her and her daughter to Rose Canyon, and Holden and Sophie are together again.

The chemistry between Holden and Sophie is still as strong as it was the first time they were together. I was riveted to the pages trying to figure out who was the big bad, the person that has been terrorizing everyone in Rose Canyon.

I empathized with Sophie, her upheaval from everything she knows, and how to deal with feelings that come to light, especially her confusion and hesitance about her feelings for Holden.

Another epic story set in the fictional town of Rose Canyon! Well done Ms. Micheals!

Another stellar Billionaire Bachelors story!

If you are an avid Lila Monroe fan, you have “seen” Flynn and Piper make appearances throughout the series, and I was excited to read their story. A story of a thin line between love and hate.

Piper is a fighter, she is brilliant, and she is done with the overwatch of her big brother and his friends, especially Flynn. Her determination and drive for her future are commendable and relatable; even to her own detriment, she pushes on. Her frustration is at an all-time high when she realizes that Flynn is her new landlord.

Flynn, oh my me, what a dish! I applauded his determination in keeping his true feelings for Piper on lockdown. I could empathize with his struggles and his guilt. I wanted to shake him when a light was shined on him and Piper and his gut reaction to it.

Talk about saving the best for last!  A long time coming, indeed. 

This is Breaker and Lia’s story. Friends forever and oblivious to the fact that what they feel is more than friendship. 

I loved the familiarity and comradery of Lia and Breaker, their friendship was something to envy, and it was beautiful to see it change and grow throughout the story.

I admired Lia’s stubbornness. I also felt relief when she finally stood up for herself and quit beating herself up for staying in a situation far longer than she should of.

Holy hot man alert with Breaker, floved the nerdiness, but boy oh boy, when the growly “Ophelia” came out his mouth…talk about melting.

And gahhhh! How I wanted to shake both of them, the “I told you so’s” were coming from both me and the Cane family and friends!

Ms. Quinn is so talented in writing steaminess to an unmatched level! It’s graphic enough to keep you glued to the pages and swoony to an exponential factor.

The humor and laugh-out-loud moments bubble over in this story, the dialogue between the Cane brothers is both humourous and heartfelt.

Just read this, period. It’s so good.

The talent of Ms. Reid shines from the pages of this new story!

Drama King is everything you want in a story and more! (At least for me).

This is the story of Bathsheba (Beth) and Cyrus and what a beautiful couple they make.

I admired how Ms. Reid gives her characters dimensions and layers that really stick with the reader. 

Cyrus is beautiful and he is flawed. He is charm and charisma personified. He wants something real and meaningful and in his line of work, it’s hard to find.

Beth, what a bada$$! She was brilliant at her job, to the point of it almost being detrimental to herself. She is honest to a fault and she is just the soulmate that Cyrus needs.

From the “spoiled boy” persona of Cyrus and his inner dialogue to Beth’s remarkable restraint, this story will keep you glued to the book/e-reader/audio until the very end! 

You are going to fall in love hard with both of them in this story, and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

This is Tilda and Gil’s story.

Tilda is the odd witch out…or so she thinks. She struggles with fitting in with her family, which happens to be the most powerful family in town. I love her quirks, and her inner dialogue is outstandingly funny!

Gil is stuck between a rock and a hard place; playing both sides and trying hard not to fall for Tilda is a battle he fights on the daily.

I loved all the secondary characters and can’t wait to see and read the future books in this series to see what happens!

Smexy, swoons and laughs are the perfect spell in this new story!

Another fantastic story in this series! You can read them all as a standalone, but do yourself a favor and read them all!

This is the story of Sebastian and Roxy, a story of friends crazily helping each other.

Roxy is fierce; she stands up to whoever and whatever she needs to. She also has a deep sense of feeling like she is just a background player in her world. She deserves to be front and center, and her family needs to see that for themselves.  She doesn’t fit the mold that her family wants her to be in, which doesn’t make her less than; it makes her unique.

Ah, Sebastian, you suave British bloke! He is who he is because of what he thinks he needs to be. He is guarded with his heart and true self, and it was swoony to see it come to light with Roxy.

I always enjoy a Lila Monroe story, and this is no exception!
