This series just gets better and better! Ms. Lind’s confidence in her writing has grown with every new book she releases.

This is the story of JJ and Riley.

When a surprise knocks JJ off his axis, it’s Riley that comes in to save the day.

The chemistry between these two is wicked hot.  Their spark lights up the pages.

Riley is such a giving soul.  She is just what JJ needs to tame his playboy ways.  I admired her flirty banter and take-charge attitude when it comes to what she wants.

JJ is just swoony! Yes, he’s a former playboy, but his dirty talk is on point and when he realizes what a treasure Riley is, he is determined to make Riley his own.

This a sweet, slightly angsty story that really pulls the reader into the world that Ms. Lind has created. It was lovely seeing past characters make appearances! Don’t be discouraged by that last sentence, this can totally be read as a standalone! Fans who have read Ms. Lind’s previous stories will see small glimpses into other characters.

Grab your helmets and prepare for the ride of your life!

This is the story of Alec (Animal) and Drew. Childhood friends, best friends that slowly became more over the years until young love turned into true love. To be able to find your soul mate that early in life is amazing. And written beautifully by Ms. Dukey.

Drew is a true child of a biker club, she is tough, she is fierce and she knows how to handle the intricate life of being a child of a club member.  Her saving grace is her friendship with Alec and it was refreshing to see when Alec knew when to come to her “rescue” and when to stand back and watch her take care of herself.  That to me is a true man!

Alec/Animal is club royalty.  He is the prince of this charter of the MC. He knows where his future lies and that is with Drew. When circumstances change and loyalties are tested, Alec truly becomes Animal. He becomes what he feels he needs to, to endure the loss he feels. He becomes the new king and he thrives in it.

As always, Ms. Dukey takes the reader and brings them in the world of her making.  I felt truly immersed in the life of the MC and the dangers and family meaning behind it.

A bit of thriller, mystery and intrigue will keep you guessing until the end and what an ending it is! I can’t wait to see what comes next!

Well, those people, the ones trying to spew rainbows and sunshine up your ass about blatant mistakes . . . yeah, they’re only saying that because they fuck up on a daily basis.

Think about it, what REAL person is okay with all their regrets? No one. There is always that one thing you did, that one time, that you will always, always, always think . . . “What if I’d done that differently?”

It keeps you up at night.

You wonder, what transformed, what took over my brain, to utter such words. To alter your life completely and send it down an entirely different course.

Yeah, my life has been fucking altered all right.

Everything was fine.

I was pitching one hell of a fucking season for the Rebels, my ride or die team. I was getting along with my teammates, even the infamous Cory Potter, who made a splash after last season. I’ll hand it to the man, he really is the boss. I was getting laid whenever I wanted, which is always a plus for a guy who has massive amounts of adrenaline pumping through him daily, especially on a pitching day. And there were no strings attached.

None.

Yeah, I might have a rotation of women I call, but any single player in the major leagues does. You need the outlet. Even the prestigious Cory Potter had some booty call numbers before he found Natalie.

I was living a great life, and then it all changed. And it changed fucking fast.

Before I knew it, I was staring into my fridge at dairy products not made from a cow, but rather from oat. What the fuck is that? Oat milk? Explain to me where an oat has a goddamn nipple.

My toothbrush is made from bamboo, which gives off a very woody, splintery taste, and I’ve been using toothpaste tablets instead of paste from a tube . . . because apparently, tubes suck up life in the landfill.

The eco-friendly toilet paper in my apartment disintegrates in my hand and is worthless, making bathroom breaks a fucking nightmare.

And there’s a goddamn three-legged dog in a suit and tie sitting on my couch that goes by the name Herman, or Hermy for short.

I don’t have any privacy, I don’t even remember what meat tastes like anymore, and “Hermy” has a goddamn staring problem. And the three-legged motherfucker, yeah, he’s stealthy. I find him waiting for me outside the shower . . . staring.

When I wake up . . . staring.

When I’m trying to make a goddamn tempeh sandwich . . . staring.

Every time I tell him to “get a life” or to “fuck off” or for the love of Christ “get a new hobby”, he doesn’t even bat an eyelash.

He just stares!

I can’t fucking take it anymore.

I’m losing my goddamn mind and I don’t know . . . maybe it’s because I haven’t had sex in what feels like forever, or because my burgers are now made of imposter “meat”, or maybe because I’m forced to do things I don’t want to do. Either way, something needs to give, because I’m pretty sure from all the vegan shit I’ve been eating, my armpits are just about ready to spring their own mung beans.

Christ.

One phone call.

That’s all it took.

One fucking phone call from a person I cannot say no to, a person who will forever and always be . . . my insanely beautiful and free-spirited best friend.

I’ll be the first to admit that I am not a baseball fan, but I sure am a fan of the Rebels!

Ms. Quinn brings the team back in this story of all-star pitcher Maddox and his life-long best friend Kinsley.

Kinsley has been Maddox’s best friend since they were five! That’s a long time and even when distance and life have separated them, they both are still are each other’s rock and safe place to fall.

Maddox’s image is the bad boy of baseball, but Kinsley knows his true self.

I was so invested in their relationship.  The trepidation of the both of them wanting more, the desperation and feelings of vulnerability on both.  To read Kinsely and Maddox navigate through their feelings was both beautiful and sometimes heartbreaking.

Now don’t be scared, there is also the fantastic humor and laugh out loud moments you come to expect from Ms. Quinn.  You won’t be disappointed!

Now like all her other stories, this can totally be read as a stand-alone, but as a superfan, like I am, I have read them all and it was so much fun to “see” past characters make appearances and love the team family come together to help a fellow out when it’s needed.

Like I said at the beginning, I am not a baseball fan. However, Meghan Quinn has made me a Rebels fan for life!

I am always excited to see a new story by Claudia Burgoa!

This story is no exception! I love this story of Persy and Ford!

Persy is absolutely an amazing character.  The life she has lived, the things she has seen and done is just wow. Her upbringing was as unorthodox as can be, but it made her the phenomenal person she is.  Her career is everything to her, but there is a cost and that cost is what she struggles with the most.

Ford, the man with many names, he is all of those names and more.  He is reclusive and a bit of a loner. He is a bit jaded about the world around him and when he meets Persy, well it’s like putting a match to gasoline.  It’s hot, a bit scary but beautiful in it’s own right.

From pod casts, to texts, to face to face interaction, you get all that in this story it was so fun to read! To see the different relationships develop was just swoony and heartmelting.

The humor was fantastic and subtle enough to really make it more believable!  The secondary characters were absolutely fantastic and I hope to see more stories set in this world in the future!

#BitterSweetHeat

This is a fantastic story, point-blank.  This is a story that is going to grab you from the beginning and wrap you up in it until the very end. I couldn’t put this story down until the very end and now I want more!

This is Crawford and Keegan story, with a heaping helping of Millie.

Keegan is a single mom to Millie.  Keegan is strong and after some bumps in her road, she loads up her life and Millie to make a fresh start.  Her friends are her family and the love she shows towards her daughter is total #momgoals!

Crawford is a loner, a recluse. It was sad to read how he came to be this way.  But when he helps out Keegan and Millie like a knight in dark armor, well whoo wee, grab a fan and a cool drink because the heat that fires up between them it’s gonna make you melt! His alpha tendencies go into overdrive and it’s gonna make you swoon!

I absolutely loved the interaction between Crawford and Millie.  They were kindred souls and their relationship was so sweet.

I loved the dialogue, I felt like I could actually hear the characters whispering in my ear as I was reading.  The secondary characters are absolutely amazing and I am so looking forward to a couple stories about them! (Please, please, please!)

Finally, the Healing Hugs!  I absolutely loved all the definitions throughout the story.  It made my heart feel like Ms. Rae was hugging it!

Hot Jocks 7

It’s a bit bittersweet writing this review for the final book in the Hot Jocks series.

This is the story of the Ice Hawks rookie Jordie and the daughter of the head coach Harper.

Harper has grown up around the world of hockey. She has a very hard set of rules for herself about her interactions with hockey players. I had a bit of admiration for that. She tries hard to stick to her rules, even after she meets the winner of an auction that she was recruited to be a part of.

Jordie, the ultimate player.  He has some unresolved issues that have made him the man he is. When he bids and wins a date with Harper, well he starts feeling things that he hasn’t felt before.  He wants more and the fight that Harper puts up just makes him want her more.

This was a lovely conclusion to the series. It was fun to see all the past characters make appearances and to be able to read what has been going on with them.

Such a fun, swoony and smexy series! Well done Ms. Ryan!

A Sinister Fairytales Novel

Wow! This was a story I couldn’t put down until the very end! The mystery, the intrigue, and the holy grab my pearls smexiness!

Mona is fighting to be free of the chains of her family’s skewed devotion and fights hard against the indoctrination of her upbringing. When tragedies strike, the urge to leave the island becomes overwhelming.

The Ward brothers….oh my me! Twins, tattoos, and piercings, oh my! These two embrace everything alpha, and they do it so well.  The way they embrace and protect Mona is just whew…

The mystery in this story kept me guessing until the very end. Just when I thought I had it figured out, Ms. Dukey shocked me! There are twists and turns throughout the whole story and I couldn’t put it down until the end!
