Which means my swimmers are stronger than my brother’s. I win.
Yeah, yeah, everyone can say it’s not a competition, but it is.
And we all know it.
Two babies at once means double the fun, and double the misery for my poor wife, Amanda. While I’m growing a Fortune 500 company, she’s growing two entire human beings out of nothing but orange cheese snacks and ice cream.
Do you have any idea how hard I’ve worked during this pregnancy, tracking down orange smoothies for her?
Not to mention being forced to Facetime into a childbirth class on perineal massage, rescuing Chuckles the cat from being shaved bald by my two-year-old niece, and fighting with a wife who has named the twins Lefty and Righty.
By the time we hit the ninth month, my entire world revolves around pleasing — and protecting — her.
Even if it means humiliating myself in the name of love.
Wait a minute. Wait a minute, now.
Hold on.
Is she the one who’s winning?
Andrew and Amanda are BACK in the newest New York Times bestselling Shopping series book as they “beat” Declan and Shannon in the baby competition, but at what cost? As their future awaits them in the form of twins, Amanda and Andrew face ghosts from the past with wit, humor, and most of all — plenty of love.
I open my eyes, the words running through my head before I’m fully awake.
Twenty-three weeks, three days.
That’s my first thought.
The second is: I need to hump my husband.
Some impulse centers itself between my legs, turning me into a rocking nerve ending, my entire body so horny, it’s like some gene in me got flipped and my entire purpose in life is to orgasm in a continuous loop.
“Help,” I whisper to Andrew as I slide my bare thigh against his hair-covered one, his body gloriously nude, which only ratchets up my sex-crazed fever.
“What’s wrong?”
“I need you to let me have sex with you again.”
One eye narrows, the other holding steady as I reach for him, finding him halfway to where I need him.
“Excuse me?”
“Can I please have sex with you again? I know we just did it–” I look at the clock, squinting to read the numbers, “–seven hours ago, but I–”
The kiss answers me.
“You don’t have to ask.”
“Of course I do! Consent is very important.”
His erection twitches in my hand, jumping slightly.
“There’s my consent.”
This isn’t slow sex. It’s fast and hard, the kisses hot, my legs parted and my body centered over him in seconds. The grinding need to have him touch the deep ache inside and unclench it is too furious, too intense to ignore.
I’m bent over him, hips rolling up, belly hardening with each curl as I ride, ride, ride to climax. My thighs pull him in deeper, knees pressing against his tight ass, my hands on his chest, his head bobbing up to suck one breast at the perfect moment of ecstasy, making me moan into eternity.
And then–snap. I’m done.
I climb off and kiss his cheek.
“Thank you!”
AUTHOR BIO
New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Julia Kent writes romantic comedy with an edge. From billionaires to BBWs to new adult rock stars, Julia finds a sensual, goofy joy in every contemporary romance she writes. Unlike Shannon from Shopping for a Billionaire, she did not meet her husband after dropping her phone in a men’s room toilet (and he isn’t a billionaire). She lives in New England with her husband and three children in a household where the toilet seat is never, ever, down.
I fell in love all over again with the cast of characters in the newest installment of the Shopping For series.
This is the grudge match between the McCormick brothers, pregnancy with twins and all the fun and fallout that comes with that and the impending fatherhood for Andrew.
This is the story full of laughs, revelations and the true meaning of family.
Julia Kent has a magic to her words, she brings the readers into the story. I felt really invested in the way that Amanda and Andrew navigated their way through. I empathized with Amanda and her pregnancy. I had a great appreciation of Andrew’s growth as a husband and father.
The swoons are real and plentiful and of course what would this series be with the hilarity of the Jacoby family barging their way through!
It was lovely to see Terry make an appearance and I so hope for his story soon! He deserves it and a happy ending of his own!
Get your hands on this book, heck the whole series and see how easy it is to fall in love with this crazy crew too!

Blurb: Arrested. Wrongfully accused. Sentenced to ten years. But the steel bars release me early.
After serving half of my time for a crime I didn’t commit, they grant me parole—with a very short leash. My second chance at freedom begins now, and I won’t waste it. I should’ve been paying more attention.
Ambushed. Captured. Stranded. When I wake in the depths of a snowy forest, all seems lost. I’ve been left alone in the wilderness with zero means of escape. Until someone rouses beside me.
I recognize Blakely Cross instantly, yet she’s barely more than a stranger. Now she’s stuck with me in the worst possible place, as collateral damage.
Blakely blames me, and rightfully so. This entire situation is my fault. Our destinies are inadvertently twisted together by forces far larger than us. Whether she hates me or not, we need each other to stay alive.
Cope. Adapt. Persevere. They tossed us out to be buried, but underestimated our determination. The bond we’re building will overcome the harshest conditions.
And we’re not willing to surrender.

This amazing new story from Harloe Rae will take readers to the wildness of Canada with a lushness that drew me in from the get-go!
This is the story of Halder and Blakely. Two souls that are thrown together by extreme circumstances that will truly reveal their amazing chemistry.
You are going to fall for Halder in a big way! His swooniness factor is off the charts! He is a loner, a wrongly accused man fighting for justice and clearing his name.
Blakely is a soft place to fall for Halder. She is a compassionate soul with a heart that is big enough for both of them.
I absolutely love falling into Harloe’s books. She has a magic to her words that bring readers right where she wants them and doesn’t let go until the very end. I would love to see some secondary characters get their own stories in the future!

Confusion riddles me. I stare at him for a long beat before finding my words. “My
parents died in a plane crash years ago.”
“Your freshman year in college, to be exact.” His features harden. “But they weren’t
your real folks.”
Horror ekes past my defenses. “What?”
Deep brown eyes holding a slight tinge of gold assess me. “That’s enough talk for now.
Ain’t got time to waste. Need to get you outta here.”
“As I said before, no, thank you.”
His gaze turns glacial. “You don’t understand—”
“I understand just fine! You’re obviously a criminal.” I gesture between him and where
Goliath remains standing. “And I want nothing to do with any of this. I pay my taxes. I return my
damn shopping cart at the store while the other assholes leave them in the parking lot. I’m not
someone who gets involved with people like you!”
He lets my outburst settle in silence. His lips press into a thin, irritated line before he
speaks in a low, deceptively subdued voice. “Can’t tell me that fancy professor brain of yours
ain’t dyin’ of curiosity ’bout your folks. That you ain’t eager as fuck to find out if your real dad
was murdered.”
I flick my eyes to the gun holstered at his side. “How do I know you’re not lying to me?”
“I always follow through on my end.”
“Right,” I say derisively.
His expression turns ferocious. “You questionin’ my word?”
Bravely, I lift my chin while maintaining eye contact. “I’d be stupid not to.”
He stares at me for a long moment. Wordlessly, he pulls his cell phone from his pocket
and scrolls through it. When he stops, his eyes flick up to mine, eerily watchful before he turns
the screen of the phone my way.
I suck in a sharp breath at the sight of the woman pictured on the screen, shock
ricocheting inside me.
“That’s Johanna Santilla. Your mom.”
Oh, my God. OhmyGod. I’ve heard of that name. Hell, anyone who hasn’t been living
under a rock has heard of the Santilla drug cartel. They originated in Cuba and began calling
Miami home over sixty years ago.
No photos exist of Johanna Santilla—at least none that have hit the internet. Photos of
her father, Carlos Santilla, have surfaced since his death, but they’ve often been grainy and
slightly pixelated, like the ones featured on Dateline NBC and other true crime television shows.
As for Johanna, however, once she took over the cartel for her father years ago, it’s as
though all photographic traces of her were somehow wiped clean. According to rumors, she
decided to keep a low profile when word got out about the FBI poking around in her business.
With criminology being my specialty, stories such as these fuel my brain, making me analyze the
psychological reasoning these particular individuals employ. I recall learning that once Nico
Alcanzar came into power, taking over for Salvatore Vega, Santilla allegedly grew more
secretive. Authorities couldn’t gather enough substantial evidence to pin any murders on her,
and she’s remained elusive to them ever since.
My eyes lock on the photo of Johanna Santilla standing beside her father, Carlos. But
that’s not what has me struggling to draw oxygen into my lungs.
“She looks…” I’m unable to finish, so stunned.
It’s as though I’m peering into my future. It’s undeniable that we have the same dark
hair and facial features.
“That viral video put you on everybody’s radar. One look at you and nobody could deny
you weren’t the goddamn spittin’ image of her.” His eyes flick to the phone a second before the
screen times out and goes dark. “Luckily, I’m the first to track you down.”

This is a story that is going to grab you from the first chapter and leave you guessing until the very end!
This story of Olivia and Nico is full of heat, swoons and so much heart!
Olivia is discovering pieces of her life that she never knew and it is throwing her world into a spin. I admired her strength of character. When things looked bleak, she was able to see the light in the shadows. She is able to reveal herself to Nico more than she ever has before. Her instinct has driven her and will it provide itself to be true and honest to herself? That will be answered in this fantastic novel!
Nico is an enigma wrapped in a riddle. He is bad boy personified. Against his nature, he reveals his truth in pieces to Olivia. Will it be enough to keep her in his dangerous world.

And the secondary characters? Wowza, I am so hoping to hear more from them in the future!
Title: Off the Record Series: Nashville Fury, Book 1 Author: Chelle Sloan Genre & Tropes: Contemporary Romance; Sports/football romance; forbidden love
Chelle Sloan brings a story of forbidden love as sports reporter Sadie Benson falls for football coach Hunter McAvoy in Off the Record.
Fans of the Nashville Fury come to me for all things regarding their favorite professional football team. Stats, rumors and even what the players like on their pizza. What they don’t turn to me for is information about how their offensive coordinator is in the bedroom. The answer? It’s too hot for print. My name is Sadie Benson and I committed the cardinal sin of being a female sports reporter: I fell in love with a coach. And not just any coach. Hunter McAvoy. On track to become the youngest head coach in football history. And with one panty-melting smile, he made me realize there is more to life than work. It was the story I never saw coming. We both know this is wrong. We both know we should stay away. We know that if our relationship becomes public, it could ruin everything we have spent our entire lives working for. It’s a chance we are both willing to take.
**The Nashville Fury series is a series of interconnected, standalone, sports romances.**
We keep our word to avoid interview questions for the rest of dinner. We share stories of our childhood and families. Well, I did. I tell him about how my mom died when I was five, and how for a while it was just me and my dad until he married Helen. He doesn’t dive deep into the family well, and I don’t blame him. He does tell me a story about one Halloween when he dressed up as a cheerleader and his sister, Whitley, was the football player.
Now that’s the photo I wish his mom would have shown me in Birmingham.
The conversation is easy and flowing. Before I know it, he has paid our bill and we are walking hand in hand toward Beale Street, still talking about everything and anything. It’s a bit chilly for Memphis in February, but I don’t mind. I’m not ready for this night to be over.
“I can’t believe I’m out with a Tennessee graduate,” he says, giving a shiver as if he said something that tasted horrible on this tongue. “Please tell me you don’t own twenty pieces of orange checkerboard clothing.”
“I do not, but even if I did, it’s better than that houndstooth your school insists on claiming for itself,” I say, giving his shoulder a nudge. “You think I like being seen in public with a ‘Bama man? I have a reputation to uphold, ya know.”
“Your reputation?” he asks, pulling me around so I’m now standing in front of him, our bodies just inches away from each other. “I’m one of the most famous men to ever graduate from my school. How would it look if someone saw me out with you?”
I know we are teasing each other about our schools being rivals, but his words are laced in a double meaning that we are both deeply aware of. I’m now looking up at him, my hand still in his. I feel like I’m short of breath, but it’s not because of the chilly air or the walk. It’s because being this close to Hunter is physically taking my breath away.
“Are you okay?” he asks, but instead of taking a step back, he takes a half a step closer.
I look down for a second, because his gaze is too much for me to handle. “What are we doing?”
My words come out as a whisper, and for a second, I wonder if I actually said them out loud. Especially because Hunter doesn’t answer right away. When I’ve convinced myself I only said those words in my head, he takes my chin in his free hand, tilting my head up to look into his eyes.
“I don’t know, Sadie. All I know is that I can’t not touch you. I need to hold your hand. I needed to know what it would be like walking next to you like you were mine to have.”
“We shouldn’t be doing this.”
My breathy words are the truth, but they taste like a lie as they pass through my lips. The sensation of my hand in Hunter’s feels right. The way he is looking at me right now? Like I’m the most beautiful thing he has ever seen? No other man has ever looked at me like that. No man has made me feel as feminine and as wanted as I do right now.
How can something that feels so right and natural be so wrong?
“Sadie?” Hunter’s words are soft, and even though we are on a busy street in the middle of Memphis, I can hear them like it’s the only sound around us.
“Yes?”
“I know we shouldn’t be doing this. But if I don’t kiss you right now, it will be the biggest regret of my life.”
Then he does. Before I can object, before I can utter again why this is a horrible idea, Hunter leans down and presses his lips against mine. In the middle of Beale Street, with strangers walking past us, with jazz music filling the air, Hunter gives me the best first kiss of my life.
And it is better than any fantasy I have ever had.
Chelle is a contemporary romance author who writes happily ever afters with a lot of love with a little bit of humor mixed in. A native of Ohio, Chelle decided that after a decades-long career in sports journalism, it was time to take a step back. She is currently working on her Master’s degree in journalism and is set to graduate from her program in 2021. She is a diehard Cleveland sports fan, is the owner of way too many, yet not enough, tumblers and will be a New Kids on the Block fan until the day she dies. She also does her best writing at Starbucks, where you can usually find a venti caramel frappucino on her table. As for her own happily every after? Maybe one day…
This sophomore novel from Chelle Sloan is a fantastic introduction to a new series. Based on the fictional Nashville Fury football team, we are introduced to a new charismatic cast of characters.
Off The Record is the story of Hunter and Sadie and what a fabulous story it is!
Sadie is a woman sportswriter fighting against the male-dominated career in which she thrives and rocks it like a bad b*tch that she is! When she happens upon a “stranger” in the sandwich shop, she knows she is about to get the scoop of a lifetime.
Hunter is the newest addition to the Nashville Fury’s coaching staff. He has a lot of speculation and a big shadow to fight his way from under but he is the will to do whatever it takes to make a name for himself.
When these two meet, sparks fly immediately and they just can’t fight the magnetism that draws them together, even at the risk to both of their careers. They just can’t fight fate and they both work hard to make sure their professional lives and personal lives stay separate until it seems like they can’t. The angst is this story is perfectly blended with the heart you want in a romance!
The dialogue is funny and fresh, the swoons are out of this world and the smexy times are outstanding and not overly done, it’s the right blend of heat and class!
I cannot wait to read what comes next from this series and who will get their stories next! Well done Chelle!
I’d like to preface this by saying it was never my intention to ever get involved in a workplace romance, let alone get involved with the most surly, agitating, and pompous man I’ve ever met who just so happens to be my new friend’s brother.
My intentions were to show students how English and reading books could actually be fun and make a new life for myself in the suburbs of Chicago.
But so far, I’ve managed to be called into the principal’s office.
Coerced into participating in the teacher’s badminton league.
And instigated into passionate fights with Arlo Turner over education and decorum while losing my underwear at the same time.
Known as Mr. Turns Me On, he’s the reason I might get fired from my first ever teaching job.
USA Today Bestselling Author, wife, adoptive mother, and peanut butter lover. Author of romantic comedies and contemporary romance, Meghan Quinn brings readers the perfect combination of heart, humor, and heat in every book.
The Boyfriend Effect By Kendall Ryan Release Day: October 13, 2020
About the Book
I’m not boyfriend material.
If a trail of broken hearts, and a piss-poor record of failed relationships have taught me anything, it’s this.
My buddies are happy to give me shit about my latest breakup from here to next Sunday. Thanks, but I’d rather have a root canal.
And a vasectomy.
At the same time.
But my relief comes in an unlikely package—the gorgeous and feisty Maren. She just so happens to be my friend’s sister, so that’s not awkward at all.
But I’m a man on a mission, and Maren is down to teach me all the ways I’ve been failing as a boyfriend. Apparently, there are many. And it’s all very informative—until I start to catch feels.
Now it’s not just my reputation on the line, but my heart too.
A New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author of more than three dozen titles, Kendall Ryan has sold over 3 million books and her books have been translated into several languages in countries around the world. Her books have also appeared on the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists more than 100 times. Ryan has been featured in such publications as USA Today, Newsweek, and InTouch Magazine.
What a swoony, fantastic start to a new series by Kendall Ryan!
This is the story of Maren and Hayes. There has been chemistry for years. Hayes has watched Maren grown up and his “brotherly” feelings have changed.
Hayes has had such bad track record with relationships and women. He can’t seem to figure out what he’s doing wrong.
I loved Maren’s personality and her character strength, she knows what she wants and will use what she has to get it. She loves her job and will do anything to save it.
I loved the introduction to the new cast of characters and the business that they founded!
The dialogue is witty and the smexy times are so hawt! Swoon overload with this story! I can’t wait to see the next story in this series!

As we both bring our drinks to our mouths, I notice that Cristian isn’t looking at me, so I follow his gaze. It doesn’t take me long to see what or rather who he is staring at. There, at the end of the row of banquettes, is the most exquisite woman I have ever seen.
Long brown hair that flows down past the swell of her breasts. It’s her eyes, though, that keep me from looking away. From where I’m sitting, I can’t see the color, but when she sees me, they are mesmerizing. She only glances my way for a second before turning around and giving me the cold shoulder.
Few women have done that. Not at a place like this.
Most women throw themselves at me. She, however, stands with her back to me. Her behind is not the worst view I’ve seen. Her short dress that looking from the front seemed modest is anything but.
No. Here, from this angle, nothing is left to the imagination. Two thin straps lower to an open back that dips to the dimples of her ass.
Possessed, I stand from my seat, needing to know who this girl is—and why she so casually dismissed me.
I’m a man on a mission as I stalk over to her. My team is quick to follow, so I’m intimidating as hell as I make my approach.
I should tell them to stand down, but I want to see her squirm. There’s no way that a little thing like her won’t.
When I finally make my appearance, I’m towering behind her. She hasn’t seen me, but she must feel my presence because I watch her back muscles tighten.
Slowly, and with purpose, she turns around to face me.
She has to crane her neck up, but when her gaze reaches mine, her pupils dilate.
I hadn’t come here tonight hoping to fuck, but after watching the way her mouth parts and a slight puff of oxygen escapes her pouty yet full lips, I want to fuck her. I want to feel those lips wrapped around my cock.
“I’m not interested,” she spits out before I can even speak. Her response has me throwing back my head, laughing—something I rarely do these days.
“You don’t even know what I was going to ask.”
“You were going to ask me if I wanted a drink. And seeing as I already have one …” She lifts the glass that I hadn’t previously seen in the air. It’s new, the bubbles still bouncing on the glass from the pour. “I don’t need another.”
“And what if you’re wrong?”
“So, you were coming to ask me if I wanted to… what?” Her eyebrow lifts. “Talk with you?”
“Again, wrong.” Not entirely wrong, but wrong enough.
“Well, color me intrigued. You came all the way here—”
“You noticed me.” I smirk, and she must realize her mistake, and my smile broadens. “Here’s what I think. I think you wanted me to come over here. I think you like the game of cat and mouse.”
“I think you know nothing.”
“Pity,” I say, before turning and walking away.
“That’s it?” she asks from behind me.
“Yep.” I turn my head over my shoulder. “But …” I pause for emphasis. “If you have a different answer for me, I’ll be back tomorrow. Same time. Same place.” And with that, I walk away, right out of the VIP area and then right out of the club.
Once we step outside, I stop. Turning to the right, I look at Cristian.
“Yes, Boss?”
“Her name. Her social security number. Find me everything there is to know about that woman by tomorrow.”
He doesn’t ask me why I need the info. I plan to fuck that girl, but I don’t touch anyone without doing my due diligence.
Meet Ava
Ava Harrison is a USA Today and Amazon bestselling author.
When she’s not journaling her life, you can find her window shopping, cooking dinner for her family, or curled up on her couch reading a book.
This newest story from the talented mind of Ava Harrison is a lush, decadent thriller of a romance that had me hooked from page one!
This is the story of Alaric and Phoenix. Two people from opposite sides of the same world. They are both using each other until a catastrophe forces them to depend on each other and let old hatred lie.
From the deck of a superyacht to an uncharted deserted island, Ms. Harrison takes the readers on a beautiful and sometimes deadly journey. Her words will take you there.
Alaric is on a hunt for justice and revenge. He has hardened his heart and demands and expects loyalty from all who are in his empire.
Phoenix is trying to right a wrong that has followed her family for years, she will do anything for the man who took her in as a child.
When Alaric and Phoenix meet, well the sparks and daggers fly! It was a tumultuous beginning and to see their relationship develop was moving to read.
Ms. Harrison has an avid fan in me and I cannot wait to see what she comes up with next!
The Austen series is coming to an end. The final book in the series is LIVE! I’m so excited to read Pride & Papercuts, a modern love story inspired by Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice! Have you grabbed your copy yet?
Depending on the company, loathe is a good substitute. Abhor might be a little fancy, but it gets the job done. But the word that really sums up how I feel about Liam Darcy is, without question, hate.
He doesn’t seem to think much of me either. The second he lays his fault-seeking eyes on me, he sets out to oppose me. Everything about him is imposing, as if he consumes the nearby air to power the rise and fall of his broad chest, and it’s clear he resents my presence on his advertising team. Every idea I have is shot down. Every olive branch I offer is set on fire by nothing more than the blistering coals he calls eyes.
In return, I light him up with my words.
It’s not as if he can dismiss me, since I work for his client, Wasted Words. Instead, he’s forced to tolerate me, which seems the closest we’ll ever be to friends. Fine by me.
I can be civil and still hate Liam Darcy.
But if there’s more to him than his exterior shows, I won’t be able to hate him at all. I might stumble over that line between love and hate and fall right into his arms.
Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life — a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can’t forget that. She’s also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She’s been a wife, though she’s certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She’s also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she’s been drinking whiskey. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.
This twenty-first century retelling of the classic Pride and Prejudice by Staci Hart is nothing short of spectacular!
Rather than rehash the storyline that any true Austen fan knows. I want to fan-girl hard on the way that Ms. Hart has recrafted this tale with a fresh twist but staying true to the classic.
I was entranced by Liam Darcy, to be able to delve into his mind was amazing. To see the inner struggle he had with his feelings and his sense of trust and loyalty made me love the character all the more. His brashness is a cover for how deeply he truly feels and it was beautiful to see how Laney was able to draw it out of him.
Laney Bennet is a firecracker! I have admired this character since the first book in this series. I knew her story was going to be one for the ages and Ms. Hart didn’t disappoint.
The chemistry between Liam and Laney was hotter than the hinges on Hades gate! The sparks that flew between them could set the world on fire! It’s a thin line between love and hate indeed!
I also loved how Ms. Hart was able to spin in Jett’s story into the fabric and made it smooth like silk in the processes.
This story is more than just a love story between two characters, it’s about family loyalties, it’s about how far is too far when it comes to your loved ones happiness and about finding your way back to where you belong, your home.
