My Review…

Wow! Just wow…

This new story by Ker Dukey is amazing! Enough said!  I am definitely going to be putting this in the running for my “Best Reads of 2020”

This is a story filled with all the feelings! I was so invested in this story from the get-go and I couldn’t believe how the story played out all the way to the end.

Nature versus nurture is at the heart of the story.  Is it genetics that makes a serial killer or is it the environment that a person is embedded in? Ms. Dukey does a brilliant job of explaining it all with this story of Liz and Jack.

Liz has survived a horrible childhood, her survivors’ guilt is something that she can’t seem to shake, even after the years have passed.  I could so empathize with her and her feelings towards her Lost Boy.

Jack too has suffered immensely.  He was raised in the most horrific of circumstances and made him the man he is today.

There are twists and turns aplenty and you will be guessing and gasping your entire way through this riveting story!
