My Review…

Who doesn’t love a good legend about love? There is nothing more magical than love in this new tale from the talented mind of Ms. Madden-Mills.

I have to admit, normally, new adult stories are not my thing, but I always enjoy Ms. Madden-Mills stories.  Her characters may be young in age, but they have old souls.  Such is the case with this story of Dillon and Serena.  These two have been through a lot in their young lives and it truly makes them into the people they are today.

Serena is a guarded gal, but she has an inner fire that burns deep.  She is trying to hold herself and her little family together, the best way she knows how. A brief encounter with Dillon in the past, well it comes back to rock her world in a good way.

Dillion, oh how I empathized with his past. He has had to create his own family and he holds them close.  His brief encounter with Serena definitely rocked his world and it never went back to the way it was before.

This story is going to give you all the feels, I found myself laughing, actually crying (much to my daughter’s embarrassment) and swooning at the romance that comes into play.

As always, there is a magic to Ilsa Madden-Mills words and I love to be under her spell!!

Talk about saving the best for last!! 

This final story of the Silver Foxes of Blue Ridge was amazingly heartbreaking and so full of faith and hope and the true meaning of love.

This is the story of the infamous black sheep of the Harrington family, James.  This is the story of Evelyn and her whirlwind relationship with her husband….James.

We find out the reasons behind why James became the man he is and we see the man he wants to be, for himself, for his family and for his “Peach” Evie.

The absolute heartbreak and disastrous decisions that happened between Evie and James was absolutely riveting to read and I commend Ms. Dunbar for handling the issue with dignity, grace and with the swooniness we come to love from her writing.  I was moved to tears reading their story and was beautiful to read.  I loved the spiritual element with the dragonflies and of course Silver.

I fell in love hard with the town of Blue Ridge and the people who lived there, from the Harringtons to all the characters that played a part of the town and the world that Ms. Dunbar has created.  I truly hope this isn’t the last we will see from this community!

This angst filled story is going to move you and make you fall in love with Ms. Dunbar’s stories!

You are going to enjoy this sweet and swoony story from Ms. Elaine.

This is the story of lifelong friends Griffin and Evangeline (Leni for short). Friends since childhood, even when they thought the other one had cooties they were always there for each other.

Being best friends is everything that Leni needs, she doesn’t want to lose another person in her life so she shoves her feelings of wanting more down deep in her soul. I loved her quirks and she was a true bibliophile! She has a dream job and loves every minute of it.

Griffin wants more than best friends with Leni, he wants her forever with him.  But he knows Leni’s fears and her vulnerabilities so he has waited, oh so patiently for Leni to realize what a perfect fit they are.  True soulmates!! Swoon alert set on high!

The flow of this story was perfect.  You see their past, present and future.  I loved the secondary characters and I hope to see some of them get their own stories in the future. 

You experience all the great things in a romance in this story, heart, heat, humor with a touch of angst to bring it all home!  Well done Miranda Elaine! I can’t wait to see what comes next!

My Review…

Every book that I read by Ms. Graham just gets better and better! First off, I just love the world that Ms. Graham has created in Lilac Harbor.

This is the story of Elodie (love the name) and Ryan.

The pace of this story is spot on and the chemistry between Elodie and Ryan is hotter than Hades!

I empathized with Elodie, after everything she has been through with her ex, her vulnerabilities were raw and her heart was bruised but not broken. She shelters herself in the running of her family’s B&B in Lilac Harbor. When Ryan becomes an unwilling guest, sparks fly.

Ryan’s life has spun off the rails and when he arrives in Lilac Harbor, he is not happy. But then the town and Elodie soothe his soul and it was lovely to read.

This story seamlessly blends into the world created by Corinne Michaels and is a wonderful addition to it!

A Highland, Georgia Novel.

I absolutely could not wait for this story! We finally get to see the lovable Holt get his miracle! And that miracle is a Scottish lass named Claire.

This series is amazing and the richness of detail of the town of Highland that Ms. Trentham describes puts the reader right on main street.  Seeing the town people come alive off the pages is beautiful and shows the talent of the author.

I really enjoy the flow and sweetness that Ms. Trentham has to her stories, you get heat and some serious swoony moments, but you get a ton of heart and togetherness that some romances lack.  Her stories are like a palate cleanser for life and all the dark and dreary that surrounds you sometimes.

I admired the honesty that both Holt and Claire had to each other, and I also wanted to shake Claire for the secrets she held back, but could understand it.  She was trying to find her place in the world, what she really wanted and not what was expected of her.

I also swooned over Holt’s determination to love Claire the way that she needed and also what he needed. I fell in love with him in the very first story of this series.

This story of Holt and Claire is perfect.

Keeping these two together is a recipe for disaster. Too bad the OGs don’t see it that way.

My Review…

What a steamy, funny new story from the talented mind of Ms. Aycart.

This is the story of Adrian and Rachel. What a wild ride of a relationship they have.

Rachel was such a unique character! I totally admired her quirkiness, her directness and her fierce sense of loyalty.  She embraces her wants and isn’t afraid to get what she wants. She is the granddaughter to one of the OG’s and with the help of family she tries to keep the OG’s safe and out of trouble, which is a full time job.

Adrian is a man’s man, a dedicated sheriff and tries hard to corral the OG’s.  

I enjoyed the flow of this story.  I like that Rachel’s past is slowly revealed and how it plays so much into the story.  I was moved by the sense of family in the small town of Alden. 

This can be read as a standalone story, but now I want to get a hold of the other books in this story to read more about the citizens of Alden, and of course the great group of grandmas that make up the OG’s.
