This book!! Oh my me!! I am beating myself up for never scoring a Lucy Score book till now!

Rock Bottom Girl is everything I love in a romance!  You get smoking hot smexiness, you get a fabulous heroine and hero and above all you get laughs, genuine laugh out loud moments!  In fact I laughed out loud so much that my husband (who in no way reads) wanted me to read some parts of this story out loud and he got a good chuckle too!  That in itself is a stellar review!

This story of Marley and Jake is just uggghhh I can’t even come up with the right adjectives of how good this story is without it sounding trite and cliche!

Marley is my spirit animal! I empathize with her so much! Her high school experience is was brutal and honest.  Her life after high school and this whole story proves that life does get better after high school.  I loved reading her realization of her self worth and what she gave to her little part of the world.  Her best friend Vicky is amazing and we all need a friend like her.

Jake, oh I so enjoyed this man! I admired Ms. Score’s portrayal of him.  He didn’t fight his feelings, he didn’t downplay what he was feeling for Marley.  He embraced it and was willing to fight for what he wanted. His family was amazing, from his fabulous uncles to his mom and cousin, his family is the true meaning of the word “family”.

Ms. Score you have found another stalker…I mean fan in me! This book is definitely in the running for my “Best Reads of 2019”.  I am going to be adding all the other books in your library to my TBR list!

Please, let me make sure we got some details right. On the application, you describe your current boss as impatient, aggressive, micromanaging, and somehow a social piranha.

Did I misread it? Is there a possibility that this was a typo?

If you could please correct or expand on your description, I’ll appreciate it. Mrs. Darlington explained our mission correctly. We always find the most fitting assistant for your company. Even for social piranhas. We have the right person for that. Our personnel is highly trained and holds at least a bachelor degree.

My Review…

Yet again, I say…this is just one of the million things I love about blogging.  New to me authors!  Claudia Burgoa, who I had the honor to meet last fall, is a new to me author and I am amazed with her story!

Maybe Later is a story about two people, who have created different personas for different reasons.

What starts as a business relationship develops in to a grudging friendship and then more.

I loved the banter between the two main characters, I don’t want to name them because each “name” gives away too much.

I loved how each “name” had different characteristics of the same person.  What they wanted the world to see and what they only show to people they trust.  And for the both of them trust doesn’t come easy.

This is a slow burn, but I think their friendship builds so much more for them. It was agonizing to see how they were falling for who they thought was one person but wishing it was the other.

This sounds complex and confusing, I know, but when you read this story it will unfold beautifully and with just the right timing.

I was so happy with how this ended, it wasn’t rushed, it wasn’t pushed, it came together at just the right time!

I can’t wait to add Ms. Burgoa’s other stories onto my TBR list.  I am so glad I got the opportunity to read and review this story!

I knew when I read The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister. I wanted to know more about that Irish devil Roark. And Meghan has come through yet again!

Diary of a Bad Boy is Roark & Sutton’s story and what a fun, steamy story it is.

Roark has a lot of scars from his past. His outlook on life involves whiskey, cigarettes, making money and women, in almost that order. He is dealing with the scars from his past in a none too healthy way, but it’s his normal until he is forced to change it.

Enter Sutton, a small town girl trying hard to live in the big city. Trying to expand her bubble when Roark comes and pops that bubble like it’s his mission.

This is truly a slow burn type of story and it’s wonderful! The connection and the chemistry between Roark and Sutton is ballistic and it was fresh to read the bit of role reversal in Sutton’s push to become physical. I can almost hear Roark’s accent get thicker when he gets fired up!

Roark’s diary entries are brilliant, funny, meaningful and thoughtful.

The secondary characters, like in all of Meghan’s stories are phenomenal and bring so much more!

This story is funny…I mean laugh out loud funny…wait till you read and you will see, if you aren’t laughing, something’s broke!

I am always amazed and entertained by Meghan’s stories! And even though you see past characters in this story, it can totally be read as a standalone!
