My Review…

Wow, what a book hangover I am currently experiencing.

When I was reading this fantastic story, I was constantly looking at the percentage left at the bottom of my e-reader.  I thought for sure it wasn’t going to turn out the way it did!  Ms. Harrison is going to keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end of this story.

Ms. Harrison’s storytelling talent shines with this story.  Her descriptions of places and scenes are so vivid, I felt like I could actually “see” them in my mind.

This story of Addison and Oliver is filled with lust, love and of course deceit.  Their chemistry is white hot and even though both have kept secrets from each other, they have their reasons. Both Addison and Oliver are looking for an escape from their worlds and they find it with each other and the lovely countryside of Wiltshire.

The twist is going to floor you, I know it did me.  What was so important about this piece of land?  Read this story and find out!

I never know what I am going to get when I dive into an Ava Harrison story, but I know I will not be disappointed!  Deceit is another amazing story, well written and just wow!

The Regret Duet (Book 1)

“Live in the seconds…” 

This story starts with a bang. An awful, awful bang.  Then this story takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions! I caught myself gasping, laughing and crying. A was so immersed in this story that the real world around me stopped.  This is a true testament to the writing genius that is Aly Martinez.

This story is about Caven and Hadley, but it’s about so much more.  The history between the two of them is so fantastical but made so believable.  The secrets and half-truths between them come to light as this story goes on and it’s going to keep you turning the pages until the end.

You really have to read this story slowly, Ms. Martinez has a talent of giving subtle clues about what this story is really about and it’s going to leave you guessing until the end of this book! The twists in this is going to grab your heart and squeeze it until the next book comes out! I know Ms. Martinez is holding my heart hostage until the next book in this duet comes out!

I can honestly say that this story is going to be in the running for my “Best of 2019 Reads”.  Ms. Martinez has yet to disappoint me with her stories and this one has got to be one of the best!

Get this book, you will thank me later!

Book one of The Odyssey Duet

“In the things we loathe become the things we love….”

I think my IQ just jumped about 50 points after reading this!  Seriously this story reads like a Greek epic poem.

The Fall of Troy is lush in its anger and its sorrow.  This story needs to be read slowly and really savored.  You are really going to feel the emotions of the characters bleed from the page.

The reasons for Troian’s change in her life plan is going to rock you and I found myself questioning what my reaction would be.  I could totally empathize with Troian’s plight and what made her uproot her whole world.

Léo’s anger and rage just screamed at me when I was reading it.  His purgatory is just as harsh as Troian’s and I could so see why they would be drawn to each other.

Troian and Léo’s story is complicated.  So complicated and yet so honest.  The anger and scars that both of these characters have is going to leave a mark on you.

This isn’t a hearts and flowers kind of romance, this is gritty and raw.  This is truly a story of love and hate.  Get ready for an epic read in this story! I cannot wait for the second book in this duet!
