Oh I know how late I am with this post, but let me tell you, I won’t ever forget my first trip to the North Iowa Book Bash!

I am already planning a road trip for next year!

First off I have to say, road tripping with my momma was phenomenal! We had a blast!

 

I got to meet some amazing authors! Samantha Lind, Heidi Hutchinson, Mira Lyn Kelly, JD Hollyfield and Harloe Rae!  I also got to meet book cover model and a really nice guy Zack Salaun.

The 80’s themed afterparty was amazing and with the help of Heidi, Zack, Kati, and author Jennifer Ann we were able to recreate the iconic movie The Breakfast Club! Heidi had the idea and she ran with it! I was so honored to help out by dressing up as the basket case! (Totally my thing!)

This was my first book event of the year and certainly not my last!! Stay tuned for more of my adventures here!!
