Holy vengeance Batman! This new story from R.C. Boldt had me from the prologue to the final page and left me breathless!
This is the story of justice versus vengeance and how it’s not just black and white, but many, many shades of gray.
I was so invested in all the characters in this story, from the swoony Landon Lattimer to the cunning and strong Kennedy Alexandre. Many characters played such crucial roles in this story, but you have to read it slowly and I even went back to some chapters to make sure I didn’t miss anything.
I loved the air of mystery and intrigue in this story and when things become clear, it’s going to knock you upside the head and make you want to read the whole story again, knowing what you find out!
The chemistry between Kennedy and Landon burns up the pages and there were times I was clutching my proverbial pearls it was so smoking hot! I also admired both Kennedy and Landon’s ability not to give up and to demand what they wanted and needed. Both physically and emotionally.
I have yet to read a story from Ms. Boldt that hasn’t absolutely blown me away with its originality. This story is another jewel in her crown of amazing storytelling.
