BOOK BLURB

From bestselling author, Dr. Rebecca Sharp, comes an emotional, second chance standalone romance in the Carmel Cove series.

It took only a matter of moments to turn Cambria Mariano into a survivor.
Moving back home, a ghost of her former self, Cammie hoped family and a familiar routine would help her find a new normal.
But months and miles couldnโ€™t erase the trauma that had befallen her.

Something needed to change. Cammie knows she needs to fight for a stronger version of herself before she loses everything. Unfortunately, the only way to hone that fight has a name: Bennett Covington, her new martial arts instructor and the golden boy whose heart she broke.

Benny has always had his eye on the shy bakerโ€™s daughter. Though the spark between them burns hotter than ever, he sees Cammieโ€™s heart is even more guarded. But Benny is a patient man; Heโ€™ll give her time to trust herselfโ€”and him.

As Cammieโ€™s confidence returns, so do the demons from her past. To stop the crimes in town, sheโ€™ll have to speak up against those who will do anything to keep her silent. And when she does, sheโ€™ll risk not only her new life but her second chance at love.

My Review...

Carmel Cove Series

I am so enjoying the Carmel Cove series! These Carmel Cove men are the definition of an alpha male and I am swooning over all of them!

This is the story of Bennett and Cambria. Theirs was a high school romance, the blush of first love. But of course, timing and the future doesn’t stop and it separates them, they both are going for their dreams.

This is more than a love story, this about Cambria’s fight for survival and the road it takes to become her own hero, her own strength and to be able to say “No More!” Cambria’s healing process was her own and it was both beautiful and heartbreaking to read. I admired how Cambria was able to decide for herself that she wasn’t going to be a victim anymore. She was a warrior!  It was moving in a way that I haven’t felt for a while. Dr. Sharp has a talent to write about a terrible subject and make it relatable and real.

Bennett is absolutely amazing in his ability to fight for what he wants and also knows when to step back and let his forever girl fight for herself. That just made his swooniness level go to an uncharted level.

This story is going to grab you by the heartstrings and not let go until the very end! I cannot wait to see what comes next!
