Becker Brothers Series…

Yes, this is what a finale to a beautiful series should be!!

This is Jordan Becker’s story.  This is the story of the oldest Becker brother.  He is the epitome of the saying “still waters run deep” He embraces the knowledge that he is an old fashioned man. He is loyal to his family and he fights for what’s right.  I loved the quiet strength of Jordan.  He was the calming presence in the Becker family.

Sydney is a woman of underlying strength and perseverance.  What she has lived through and what she becomes is a testament to that.  To be thriving and exceeding in a male-dominated career field is amazing to read!

Even though Sydney and Jordan have known each other for years, the timing was never in their favor.  But when fate smiles at them and brings them together, boy do the sparks fly.

I was also blown away by the final pieces of the mystery surrounding the death of the Becker family patriarch.  And then to have even more secrets unveiled left me gasping in shock! I would have never guessed it!

This whole series was absolutely beautiful, it goes down like a smooth glass of whiskey, leaving you feel warm on the inside.

I am so embracing my inner Viking with this story!

Set in the fantastic world of Penny Reid’s Green Valley is the newest installment from Jiffy Kate.

This is Gunnar and Frankie’s story and I fell hard for both of them!

Frankie is a product of her upbringing. She is guarded and structured in her world, everything has it’s place and she feels like she is OK with it. Her past is a blur and she wants and needs to know more, but at what cost?

Gunnar Erickson is an upcoming MMA fighter.  But he is a gentle soul, he is kind and oh so patient and goodness knows he loves a challenge. And when he meets Frankie, he knows she is his greatest challenge of all.  The battle to win her heart and soul and he is amazing at it!

This story has heart and heat and some really poignant moments.  I was so enamored of this story and these characters, it was hard to say goodbye at the end.

It was fun to see past characters from Jiffy Kate’s previous Donner Bakery series. It was like a mini family reunion!

What a fabulous story and series!! Get your hands on it!

Sinister Fairytales Collection

This is a new to me author and I enjoyed this dark and twisty retelling of the original Grimms Brothers fairy tale Rapunzel. No dancing hair or funny heroes here!

This is the tragic tale of Zell, of her upbringing with her Madame and her limited experience with the outside world. She longs to be free, she longs for the love of her mother and she longs for a “prince” to save her.

Enter Frankie, he too longs for freedom.  Freedom from the kingdom that his father created. He wants to be his own king and he knows to do that he has to rule in his father’s stead.

When Frankie and Zell meet, it’s a collision of worlds and Frankie finds himself wanting to protect Zell and show her the world.

There are twists and turns aplenty and I couldn’t put this story down until the very end.  The main characters are young and Ms. Knight does them justice by creating them with youth and naivety that is authentic.

This story is going to keep you on the edge of your seat!
