The Dirty Truth

From Wall Street Journal and #1 Amazon bestselling author Winter Renshaw comes an enemies-to-lovers romance about the journey of self-discovery that follows a life-changing event.

After a brush with death, I realize it’s time to make changes in my life. Big changes.

First, my job. I love being a journalist, but I hate my megawatt magnate boss, West Maxwell. When he demands I rewrite an article on short notice, I turn the tables on him with a scathing new column and quit in a blaze of glory.

But West isn’t about to let me go that easily, the jerk. He offers me an unexpected new position: mentor to his rebellious teenage niece. For some reason, I agree—I like helping people, but I’m also admittedly curious to glimpse the man behind the mogul.

However, I soon discover that my new assignment isn’t what I expected. As I learn about the private side of my enigmatic boss, I start to see the heart he hides behind his icy facade. The old Elle hated West…but maybe—just maybe—the new Elle can tame him.

My Review...

Another stellar story from Ms. Renshaw, another reason to be even more of a fan!

This story checked all my boxes for a romance.

This story of West and Elle is smart, swoony and the sparks between these two was on fire!

Elle has had a literal life-changing experience and had an epiphany concerning her current career and what she wanted to do. Add some Dove chocolate quotes and she makes big moves. I loved her tenacity to speak the truth, but also how she didn’t really realize her own truth.

West is a tough nut to crack, but once Elle does, you get to see his swoony insides. There is a reason why he the way he is and when you find out it, well it made me a bit weepy. When he brings Elle into his world to help, it just reaffirms what a gem he has had in his orbit.

From the glittery high rises of Manhattan to the desolate small towns of Nebraska, you are taken on a journey of self-discovery, self-preservation, love of family, and the sometimes dirty truth.

Well done, Ms. Renshaw! Another jewel in the crown of your talented writing tiara!

My past. My memories. My future.
The only certainty I have from the last three years is that my older brother is dead, and I am the only eye witness.

In order to protect the case, the lawyers demand that no one give me any information about my life . . . I must remember on my own. My only help comes from my brother’s best friend and world-renowned investigative reporter, Spencer Cross.

He has no idea how many nights I’ve spent dreaming of his name—and his body—next to mine.

Now we’re a team and our goal is to recover my memories and retrace my past. But each day we spend together, he’s looking at me as more than his friend’s little sister and I find it harder to want my old life back. Instead I’m wishing for a new one—with him. His kiss feels like home. His arms make me feel safe, and I never want this to end.

As my memories return, forcing me to face my future, everything falls apart… especially when I find an engagement ring hidden in my apartment. I have no idea who gave it to me, or what it means about my past.

My Review...

Who doesn’t love a good amnesia story! Add the talented writer that is Ms. Micheals and you get a beautifully written story and start a new series.

This is the story of Spencer and Brielle and so much more.

Waking up from a tragedy, Brielle can’t remember the last 3 years of her life. Her family and friends have instructions not to fill in any of the missing memories, she needs to remember herself and the world she lost. She struggles hard and with the help of her brother’s friends, especially Spencer, she does whatever she can to gain back what was lost.

Spencer, oooo you fabulous fella! He knows her missing time and it’s heartbreaking to see him try to navigate his feelings and watch Brielle struggle to find herself again. He is her constant, her truth, her safe space, but is he really? Read this story to find out more!

This was a perfect blend of mystery, action, swoons, and angst! You get it all in this new story, you get all the feels, cheer on the characters, and a great introduction to a new cast of characters. I loved the setup to the next story!

About SO NOT MEANT TO BE:

From USA Today and Amazon Charts bestselling author Meghan Quinn, comes a fresh take on a romantic comedy classic, When Harry Met Sally. This steamy, laugh-out-loud, enemies to lovers romance is about an annoyingly handsome coworker and the woman who refuses to be charmed by him.

Am I friends with JP Cane?

Ha! That’s laughable.

Besides the fact that he’s adopted some far-fetched notion from the movie When Harry Met Sally that says men and women can’t be friends and work together, it’s safe to say we’re not friends. He’s annoyingly loud, obnoxiously handsome, and has made an art out of poking all my hot buttons . . . multiple times a day.

So you can imagine how disgruntled I am when I not only have to fly to San Francisco with him for work, but stay in the same penthouse. Yup, we’re sharing the same air, twenty-four-seven. We’re talking full-fledged working roommates.

The man doesn’t know what it means to wear a shirt, thrives off protein bars, and you guessed it, moans loud enough for people to believe he’s Meg Ryan in a restaurant.

Spoiler Alert: I WON’T be having what he’s having.

Tack on his continuous flirting and his polished good looks, and I’m caught staring down the barrel of a seductive temptation that makes it hard for me to sleep at night.

But guess who can control herself? This girl.

Because if there is one thing I know for certain, it’s that JP Cane and I are so not meant to be.

My Review...

Laugh out loud funny! J.P. and Kelsey are SO meant to be!

I always look forward to a new story from Ms. Quinn, it’s always a guaranteed chuckle but this tops this with an actual crack up out loud laugh of a story. (So much so, that I was getting weird looks from family and the public when I was reading it.)

Kelsey is a total type A personality and the company she has made with her sister is just what she needs to keep her sane and happy. But a pure romantic at heart she longs for love, commitment, and stability.

I felt a kindred spirit in Kelsey with her doubts and insecurities. I think every gal has had experiences like hers and it made me empathize and feel a deep understanding of her personality, hopes, and dreams.

J.P. wowza, what an alpha hero is he! He hides his vulnerabilities in the most antagonistic way. But when he does show his soft side…watch out readers, you are going to be swooning hard for this loveable fella.

I loved the podcasts that Kelsey creates and we get to see past characters make appearances (even if you haven’t read a Meghan Quinn book you are gonna love it too!)

I felt all the feels in the story! From laughter to tears, from swoons to wanting to shake the characters, I floved this story hard!

It’s the most embarrassing night of my life. Not only did I literally run into the hottest guy I’ve ever laid eyes on in a hotel lobby, but the ice-cold water and whipped cream I’m carrying (don’t ask) end up all over me.

If that wasn’t enough, that same guy — the hottest one of all time — donates twenty-five thousand pounds during a charity auction… to win a date with me.

Things must be looking up, right? After all, a crazy-gorgeous guy just bid a ton of money on dinner with me. But when I see him sit down right next to my father, I know he’s not interested in me. He just wants to do business with my dad. FML.

I’m determined to make the situation work. If he really wants to impress my father, the handsome stranger can marry me… for three months. It’s all I need to get access to the trust fund so I can fund my charity. Tristan will be able to get what he wants from my dad, and my father will stop hounding me about getting a life. Everyone wins.

Soon it will be over. Until then, I’ve just got to ignore the rock-hard muscles I felt when I ran into him, the look in his eye that tells me he tastes as good as he looks, and the chemistry that sizzles between us whenever we’re together.

A feel-good, fake marriage, standalone in the mister series.

My Review...

Ms. Bay saves the best of the Mister series for last! I absolutely loved this story of Tristan and Parker.

Being the daughter of a high-profile man, Parker has been scarred in the past and that seems to dictate her future. She is such a giving soul and it shows in her work with charities. The only hitch in her goals is gaining access to her trust fund. She has to be married for at least 90 days. Where oh where to find a willing groom?

Tristan and Parker’s meet-cute is one of the best I have read in a while! It was sweet, funny and swoony.

Talking about swoony, let’s talk about Tristan! This playboy is way more than meets the eye, the way that he is with Parker made me just melt. He too has some scars that mold him, but when he sees a forever with Parker, he does what he must to make it a reality.

I loved the chance to catch up with secondary characters from the series in this story and I loved the lead up to the next series from Ms. Bay.

Such a lovely story and what a fantastic end to the series.

BLURB

So when a college friend invites her and her two little girls to come for a visit, she’s ecstatic about a vacation. Only she’s placed in the garage apartment of her best friend’s older brother. Being attracted to him hadn’t been on her itinerary, but there’s no going back when hearts become reckless.

Welcome back to Lakeside Cottage.

My Review...

Oh how I want to live in the world that Ms. Dunbar has created with this series. Lakeside Cottage is a place where healing can begin.

This is the story of Archer and Jenna.

Archer has a lot of secrets, and his family totally misunderstands him, and their assumptions couldn’t be more wrong. I fell hard for this silver fox with his growly ways and his need to protect those he loves (or what he believes is love). His history is riddled with lies, secrets, and vulnerabilities that most people will never know. I could understand his need for secrets, but at what cost to him and his family relationships.

Jenna, she is a protective mama bear and a widow that is trying hard to move on. She comes to Lakeside to help her friend and fellow widow. When she first meets Archer, it’s surprising and steamy in the best ways. I could totally empathize with Jenna on her vulnerabilities and her caution going forward with Archer.

The chemistry between Jenna and Archer is melt your Kindles hot, and the beginning of their relationship had me gasping, cheering, ah heck, all the emotions! I loved the slow burn aspect of their relationship and to see it grow was swoony to behold.

I am bowing down yet again to the queen of over 40 romance, this story is yet another jewel in her well-deserved crown.

My Review...

This book is going to get its hooks in you as soon as you open this story!

Ms. Davis really flexes her writing muscles with the dark and dangerous tale of vengeance and the power of acceptance, forgiveness and love.

A chance meeting brings the chemistry between Catarina and Massimo raging to the page and even with the passing of time, when they meet again it burns hotter than ever.

Catarina is a formable donna, she has worked fiercely to become one of the most powerful made men in the mafia world. She has a huge motivation and an extensive plan in place to become a true mafia queen. She is strong, fierce and underneath that hard outer shell, beats a heart of a broken and damaged girl that has been abandoned by everyone close to her. She is a complex character that I was so intrigued by.

Massimo is trying to erase the sins of his family’s past. He is labeled a playboy and wanderer, but there is so much more to him, and Ms. Davis does a brilliant job of creating him to be a complete alpha with a heart of gold. He is the perfect mate for Catarina, he knew when to let her take charge and he also knew when to step up and be the man she needed.

The secrets that both of the characters have and are slowly revealed is what kept me absolutely invested in this story! Once you start, you won’t want to stop!

Stone

The Hannaford Supermarket is packed on this Friday afternoon. I imagine we’re all doing the same thing; ditching work a couple of hours early, grabbing some dinner items, and heading home to kick off our weekend. I wonder if this is what Paul meant when he told me there’s no such thing as a unique experience.

I tuck a six pack of Heineken beneath my arm and head for the meat counter to grab a porterhouse and half a pound of stuffed mushrooms.

“I mean, what would you feed a dog if you had one?” A pony-tailed blonde in neon blue yoga pants asks a pimple-faced butcher.

“I don’t have a dog, ma’am,” he says, his Adam’s apple bobbing.

“But if you did though,” she says.

“I’d probably feed him kibble, ma’am.” His eyes shift toward the long line forming behind her.

“I guess I’ll just take two sirloins,” she says. “The eight ounce, not the five.”

The young man wraps the steak in brown paper for her before sealing it with a sticker.

“Anything else?” he asks.

“That’ll be all, thank you,” she says before taking the package, turning on her heel—and walking right into me. “Oh my god. I’m so sorry. I didn’t see you there.”

In her defense, I was probably standing a little too closer, but the little old lady behind me kept inching closer to me, which made me inch closer to her and it became a big circle jerk of inching.

“Jesus,” I mutter under my breath when our eyes catch.

I’d know those Pacific ocean blues anywhere, the ones so effervescent they almost make me forget it’s been about a week and a half since I ignored her last message.

“Jovie,” I say.

“Stone?” She squints, as if she doesn’t believe her eyes. Then again, I imagine I look slightly different than I did five years ago. Shorter hair. More muscles. Dressier clothes. Bigger big dick energy …

“What are you doing here?” I ask.

The little old lady behind me clears her throat, and I motion for her to go around me.

“I’m watching my neighbor’s dog and he’s refusing to eat. I think he’s depressed. I thought maybe if I got him a steak …” she shrugs. “What are you doing here? I thought you were in Baltimore?”

She remembered …

Our senior year in college, I was accepted into the University of Maryland School of Law that upcoming fall.

“Yeah,” I say. “I was offered a position up here from one of my law professors who was opening a practice here.”

Her lips inch into a wistful yet friendly smile. I’m sure it’s strange seeing me here—of all people. Or maybe she’s looking at me but thinking about Jude. It’s hard to tell. I imagine seeing me all these years later rustles up some old memories she wasn’t prepared to think about at the grocery store on a Friday afternoon.

The last time I hung out with Jovie was before the ill-fated Tulum trip. We were sitting around eating burnt frozen pizza from the campus convenience mart and downing cheap beer. And if that weren’t enough, Jovie forced us to play some God-awful card game where we had to shout certain phrases and clap and make fools of ourselves, but by the end of the night I was drunk enough to actually enjoy it.

The last thing I remember before passing out on the living room couch that evening was Jovie covering me with a blanket before adjusting my pillow so I wouldn’t have a kink in my neck.

I mumbled something to her about not being half bad.

She replied with a coy, “Yeah, I know.”

Everything turned black after that.

Who’d have ever thought that would’ve been the last time we’d hang out, the three of us?

Certainly not me.

I doubt Jude did either.

“You know, I’m still waiting for you to reply to that last message,” she winks and crinkles her nose. “You left me on a cliffhanger.”

“I didn’t feel like answering it.” And it’s the truth.

“That’s your prerogative, I guess.”

I’ll admit, I debated sending her another clever deflection last week, but then I got busy with work and decided it was best just to leave it alone. Besides, some things are better left unsaid.

“You know Jude lives here too,” I say, leaving out any mention of Stassi because it goes without saying.

She lifts her brows. “Okay …”

“You haven’t run into him yet?” I swear he’s never home. Stassi’s always got him running to this festival or that concert or this new restaurant.

She shakes her head, her ponytail flicking over her shoulders.

“I’ve only been here about a year,” she says. “I moved here with my ex … and I guess I haven’t gotten around to leaving yet.”

My chest tightens at the idea of Jovie being with someone new, some faceless pencil dick who probably doesn’t deserve her. From the second time we met, I knew she could never be mine. But even after Jude left her, I never once stopped to picture her with someone new. No need to torture myself.

We linger in silence for a beat, as if neither of us wants to go, yet there’s nothing more to be said.

Her full mouth curls at the sides, flanked by two perfect dimples as she stares up at me through a fringe of curled lashes. I’ve known far too many people who let themselves go after college. The stress of a corporate gig, a robust travel schedule, and a social life that revolves around drinking on the weekends tends to do that to a person. But Jovie looks even more beautiful than she did the night I first saw her.

There’s a calmness about her, as if these last several years in the real world have given her the kind of education she couldn’t get from a four-year institution.

Jovie waves her package of steaks. “I should probably get home and feed Domino.”

“Right.” I rake my hand along my jaw, taking her in for what very well might be the last time.

“It was nice seeing you though.”

Most of the time, when people say that, they never mean it.

“You too,” I say.

She walks away, turning back once more. “You should really think about answering my question …”

“Not a chance.”

She laughs before spinning on her heel and heading to the front of the store to check out.

A moment later, I realize I’m standing there wearing a dopey grin. I’m sure I look like a damn lunatic.

I wipe the expression off my face, get back in line, and order my filet mignon.

Years ago, I used to wonder what would be worse: Jude and Jovie getting married and me having to spend the rest of my life watching my best friend live happily ever after with her? Or Jude sending Jovie packing and me never having to see her again.

It never occurred to me that there could ever be anything in between.

Now I know.

Only I don’t know how I feel about it.

None of these scenarios end with me getting the girl.

My Review...

Oh, how I love the angst and slow burn of a Winter Renshaw story.

This is the story of Stone and Jovie. A chance meeting and a true opportunity missed.

Stone comes from a humble and somewhat tragic background. When his best friend’s father takes him in, he gets the stability that he needs. Stone is a stoic fellow and hides his feelings very well. I loved reading his inner dialogue, he is a true romantic at heart and his feelings for Jovie are epic and swoony.

Jovie, what a breath of fresh air! She is living her dream, selling her stories and after some setbacks, she is starting fresh and a silly mistake actually brings good fortune to her.

I loved the quick pace of this story, I love the bit of revenge factor that plays in and was cheering on Jovie for sticking to her guns and not looking back but going forward.

I am so in love with Ms. Renshaw’s stories, I am an avid fan and can’t wait to see what comes next!

USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR Claudia Burgoa continues a billionaire romantic series in a second chance enemies-to-lovers story that’ll leave readers laughing and swooning!

They’ll get their second chance at love… if they don’t kill each other first!

If I ever cross paths with Gatsby Spearman I might just push him from the tallest building in San Francisco.

Saying that I don’t like him is an understatement—I hate him.

The prick ghosted me in college, stole the program we created to start a billion-dollar company—oh and I failed a class because of him.

I want revenge. And I want it to be petty.

I created an infallible five-step plan to make him pay for what he did to me.

1. Destroy his company.

2. Hire him out of pity.

3. Make him fall in love with me.

4. Rip out his heart.

5. Ghost him while he’s crying from a broken heart.

Simple, right?

Except, I didn’t take into consideration the old college chemistry rearing its ugly head and bringing us closer together despite everything we do to fight it.

I want vengeance, all he wants is to flirt.

Though, I don’t plan on falling for his antics.

I’ll play this to win.

Let the games begin.

Paradise Bay

This branch of the Spearman clan is swoony with a capital “S”!

This is Gatsby and Maia’s story.

I have always admired Ms. Burgoa’s flow in her writing, her timeline is perfect for the story and yet it goes by so fast.

Gatsby and Maia meet in college and fall hard and fast. Then circumstances separate them in a horrible way.

Maia is a fierce, independent, successful businesswoman with revenge on her mind. She has a vulnerability that she hides to everyone who is close to her. She works hard to give off the perfect life persona, but inside she is a fragile gal that has had her heart broken. I admire how Maia stayed strong when Gatsby came calling.

Gatsby…I don’t know if I want to shake him or hug him. How he left Maia…gahhhh! But I loved his determination, his wooing game was on point. He is a tech wizard and portrays himself as having no feelings, but underneath he is a romantic fella with lasting love and a heart of gold.

I am so enjoying this series and it’s fun to “see” past characters and references.  I can’t wait for the next story!

Read on for a look inside Starry-Eyed Love!

My stomach does a flip-flop as our server moves on to another table and the hot guy slides across the bench seat and rises. He’s tall, must be over six feet, and lean. Broad shoulders that taper down to a narrow waist. I glance at his feet and notice his scuffed running shoes.
He rolls his shoulders back and crosses over to our table. He nods to my sisters, but doesn’t really look at them, his eyes on me. Now that he’s right in front of me, I notice they’re a deep mossy-green color, reminding me of a Colorado forest. “Hi.” A slow smile forms as his gaze moves over my face.
I feel it like a gentle caress and heat travels through my veins. It’s an unexpected reaction, so my own “hi” comes out rather breathily. “Thank you for the drinks and the food. You really didn’t need to do that.”
His grin widens, showing off perfectly straight, white teeth. “Well, I wanted to make a good impression, and have an excuse to come over and talk to you.”
Harley squeezes my leg under the table. I don’t risk looking at her because I’m sure she’s smiling like a loon.
“You certainly did that. Make a good impression, I mean.” Why am I so awkward right now? And why does it feel like this man is sucking all the oxygen out of the room and turning my brain cells into mush?
That gets me another smile. “I wanted to apologize if it seemed like I was staring. I hope I haven’t made you uncomfortable.”
I touch my fingers to my lips and resist the urge to play with my hair, but just barely. Why does this man make me feel like a starry-eyed high school girl? “You haven’t made me uncomfortable.”
“Good. That’s very good.” His tongue drags across his bottom lip. “I just needed to tell you that from across the room, you were beyond stunning, but up close.” He lets out a low whistle. “You are an absolute work of art.”
I fight with my eyebrows not to rise. This guy has all the lines. “Oh, really?” I lace my fingers together and set my chin on them. “The kind of art you might hang in your living room?”
“Bedroom, actually.”
I laugh. I can’t decide if this guy is too smooth for his own good. Or mine. I have to wonder how many times he’s dropped these lines on other women and they’ve ended up in his bed as a result.
“That sound is music to my ears,” he says, his white-toothed smile still in place. “I knew I’d be kicking myself if I didn’t come over here and at least say hello.” He slides a small piece of paper across the table, roughly the size of a business card. “I’m going to leave my number, and maybe if you’re interested, I can take you out for a drink, or dinner, or a hot air balloon ride.”
I can see exactly where this will go if I take that card from him. And while getting into bed with a random, attractive man might be fun, I know it’s not the right thing for me. Before I can really consider what I’m doing, or fully absorb the last part, I put a hand out to stop him. “I’m very flattered, but I have to be honest with you. I won’t call you. I have a boyfriend.” The lie tastes sour on my tongue. Although, had it been three days earlier, it would have been the truth.
Avery does some kind of cough-choke thing, and I kick her under the table and get Harley on the back swing.
His smile falters for a moment, but he doesn’t break eye contact. “That’s disappointing, but unsurprising. I didn’t see a ring, so I’d hoped maybe luck was on my side.” He tips his head to the side. “Is it serious?”
“Pardon me?”
“You and this boyfriend, are you two serious?”
This guy is unbelievable. “And if we are?”
“Hmm.” He withdraws his hand and slips the paper in his pocket. “I’d hate for karma to pass judgment on me and get in the way of our future together, so I’m just going to hope I run into you again when you’re single. Have a lovely night, ladies.” He nods to my sisters and gives me one final lingering glance before he winks. “Thank you for existing.”
And then he walks away.

My Review...

Spark House

What a welcome back to Spark House and the Spark siblings!

This is London Spark’s story. Trying to find her way to balance her world, between family obligations and finding her passion for life are the center of this story.

London is working herself too much, really burning the candles at both ends and I felt for her. I admired her tenacity and when it came to sticking to her choices she was brilliant.

Jackson is a swoony fella. He is unapologetic and I totally feel for him hard when he first meets London. How he puts himself out there and how he reacts to London. He has a past that he likes to keep private, but at what cost?

The chemistry between Jackson and London is sparkling, it is heat, and it is spicy. Their love really is what we all hope for.

The dynamics of the Spark sisters really shines through in this story. London is truly the middle child and has all the hallmarks for it. I also cheered London on when it came to standing up for herself when it was needed.

This series is beautiful and funny and oh so swoony. I cannot wait for Harley’s story next!

Kiss and Fake Up by Carrie Aarons is live!

This summer was supposed to be an escape from the city and the demons lurking within it. Too bad the minute I arrive at the beach house I’m sharing with friends, the guy I swore I’d never talk to again in my life walks through the door.

Now I’m not only stuck hiding out from an ex who won’t leave me alone, but with someone who screwed me over before he could even be considered an ex.

That’s right, two years ago Campbell Whitlock double booked me on our fourth date. As in, had a girl show up to the table where he was feeding me off his own fork and barely disguising it as foreplay. Meanwhile, my head and heart had been completely on board to make our relationship more serious.

But a leggy blonde foiled that plan, and I’ve hated him on sight since. The ex-Marine turned millionaire restauranteur didn’t even have the decency to follow me with an apology as I ran out of his own establishment.

It’s just my luck that I’m forced to room right next door to my nemesis, who couldn’t be acting more like a saint if he tried. And then the impossible happens; my ex hunts me down to deliver loaded threats and the fear I thought I’d left behind in Manhattan. Who is the only person to witness it? Campbell, of course.

His apology tour apparently extends to offering himself up as my fake boyfriend to scare off my stalker. While the plan is moronic and means having to spend more time with him, the danger I feel is real. Having a hulking, intimidating boyfriend, fake or not, might be exactly what I need.

With every passing day, pretend date, emotional gaze and midnight run-in, our relationship starts to feel less like a deal and more like something very similar to the connection I thought we had years ago. Even though I promised myself I’d never give him a second chance.

But what happens when the person protecting me starts to feel like the one I want to trust forever?
And how will I recover if his favor was done only to gain forgiveness, instead of a chance at falling in love?

Meet Carrie Aarons

Author of romance novels such as Fool Me Twice and Love at First Fight, Carrie Aarons writes books that are just as swoon-worthy as they are sarcastic. A former journalist, she prefers the love stories of her imagination, and the athleisure dress code, much better.

When she isn’t writing, Carrie is busy binging reality TV, having a love/hate relationship with cardio, and trying not to burn dinner. She lives in the suburbs of New Jersey with her husband, two children and ninety-pound rescue pup.

My Review...

From the beautiful beaches of the Hamptons to hustling Manhattan this new story from Ms. Aarons is fantastic!

This is the story of Campbell and Heather and the whirlwind of a relationship they have.

Heather is feisty, she is independent, and the first time that she and Campbell meet sparks fly, but then burn out quickly when Campbell shows his player ways. Heather is unforgiving and because of their friends, they continue to be in each other’s worlds.

When a summer spent at a beautiful beach house is a fresh start and reset for Heather and the fallout from her past.

Friends are surrounding her but don’t keep the demons that haunt her at bay.

I enjoy the whole fake relationship angle between Campbell and Heather. I admired how Campbell saw his “mask” and how it was affecting Heather. I also cheered when Heather brought Campbell to task when needed.

Beautiful settings, swoons aplenty, and smoking hot chemistry is what makes this story fantastic!
