My Review!

Gaaahhh! This second installment of this series is fantastic!

It’s starts right where part one ends and boy does it start with a showdown!

This story is more moving, we get more emotion with both Dante and Eleanor as they explore their feelings for one another.  Their are twists and turns and we get to find out more about how fate plays a part in their love story!

And of course we are left with another cliffhanger, just as a good series should! We readers are left wanting more, more, more!

This series is so good! I can’t wait to see what is coming next for this couple!

My Review…

Inspired by Jane Austen’s Sense & Sensibility…..

I first fell in love with Staci Hart’s work when I read With a Twist. And I have been loving her stories ever since.

Can I say, without getting yelled at, that I loved Living Out Loud just as much as I love Jane Austen’s work? Because I do! This adaptation is fabulous!

This story of Annie and Greg is so lovely.  I like how Staci went with the impulsive middle sister, and waiting to give Elle her story! I really enjoyed Annie’s wide eyed innocence and Greg being with her through it all.  Annie was funny, she was sweet and yet she was oh so naive.  I think the best line was “But a girl like you needs no wishes, for she eats wishes for breakfast and dreams for lunch”  whew, loved that line!

Greg was perfect, he was willing to give up his happiness to support Annie’s. He was swoony, he was sweet and that touch of alpha was spot on.  His inner turmoil about his feelings towards Annie was moving and his self-sacrifice was admirable.  He is a true friend in the best sense.

I also enjoyed seeing past characters from her stories, I have missed them and it was good reading about them, even it’s just a small bit!

I cannot wait for Elle story! Thank you for your words and stories Staci! The world you create in your books is amazing!

My Review…..

Oh wowza! What a story! I will never look at a rivet the same way again! (Read the story, you will understand!) I want to be a rivet!

This is the story of Stone and Brooke. Their story has so much, and it’s amazing how they come together!

Brooke is like a beautiful bird in a gilded cage.  A cage she so wants to escape from.  She tries so hard to be perfect that she becomes damaged in the most epic way.  She is fierce when she needs to be and loyal to a fault, what a true heroine should be!

Stone is so jaded and yet so innocent at the same time.  His childhood is beyond tragic and made him the person he had become, but with the love of Brooke he became more.  His vulnerabilities made me want to hug him all the more.  Such a beautiful damaged soul. The secondary characters are fantastic and are begging for their own stories! (Hint, hint…Annika? Skye? Bueller…..)

I have read books by both Annika Martin and Skye Warren, and love their work individually.  But them writing together is even better! I can’t wait to read more, I hope  to see more for the other characters and I am getting ready to dive into Abigail and Grayson’s story Prisoner
