My Review...

One word comes to mind when I finished reading this. “Lush” that’s the word. This story was lush, with feelings, with heat, with the storyline.

This is the story of Sloan, Margaux, and Roman. This is the story of a twin trick that became cruel. This is the fast-paced story of love, loss, and what you do for your family.

I liked the air of mystery surrounding the characters. I wanted to shake some characters and smack some others (you’ll see what I am talking about when you read the story).

Set in the big city and the small art world community, I found myself wishing I could really “see” the art. Ms. Renshaw has the talent to draw readers into the worlds she creates and doesn’t let go until she is ready.

I was sad to see this story end, but it ended beautifully, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

What a fantastic start to a new series by Ms. Aaron.

Set in the quaint small town of Hope Crest, this is the introduction of the town’s “royal” family, the Ashtons.

This is the story of Patrick and Cassandra.

Cassandra is returning to the town that shunned her as a young teen, yet she yearns to leave the limelight and settle back into small-town life and living. Coming back brings back a lot of memories, both good and bad, and it also brings her back into Patrick Ashton’s world.

Patrick is one of the siblings; he is working for his family’s business and trying to find his ever after. He knows his past is tarnished by some of his actions (or non-actions), but he wants a bright future with a love of a lifetime.

You get all the feels with this story, angst, thrills, a bit of mystery, and all the swoons and smexy times you come to love in a Carrie Aarons’s story. I appreciated the hints and lead-ups to which Ashton sibling she will feature next!

My Review...

I love Avery Flynn! Whether it be her series of stories or her stand alones, I am enamored by her writing style and her characters.

This story is witty, fast-paced, and her flawed characters are relatable and cheer-able.

This is the story of Thea and Kade.

Two people who are thrown together during a messy and chaotic situation. Both characters have scars and hidden vulnerabilities that they live with every day.

Assumptions, miscommunication, and long-seated hurt really propel Thea and Kade into their “relationship” that starts with a bang and how it ends; well, you have to read to find out.

I totally empathized with both Kade and Thea and the issues they faced. Their chemistry was fabulously steamy and swoony and I was rooting hard for them.

The secondary characters were brilliant and really brought more wackiness and hidden depths to this fantastic read.

You will never be disappointed with an Avery Flynn story!

This new story from Ms. Hunting is absolutely purr-fect! (yeah, I did that.)

This is the story of Kitty and Miles. 

As always, Ms. Hunting writes a story that is full of heart, heat, and hilarity!

I love the adorkableness of both Miles and Kitty. Their dialogue, upon meeting, is charming, funny, and smart.

Both of them come into this relationship with some tragedy in their pasts, and it has left lasting effects. But as their relationship blossoms from business, to friendship, and to more, you see how they are two puzzle pieces that fit together amazingly.

I admired the vulnerability that both Miles and Kitty have, I love the element of hockey and the secondary characters deserve stories of their own.

From this story, I have learned to love my own cat more, to work on teaching her some basic manners (yeah right) and have a little giggle when she is cleaning her “toe beans”.

Even if you are not a fan of cats, get your hands on this phenomenal new story! You won’t regret it.

What a welcome back to the magical country of Torskethorpe!

This is the continuing story of Kellan and Lilly. 

What these two have to go through! Well, it’s just gonna rip your heart out! Ms. Quinn is gonna grab you and not let you or your heart go until she is good and ready!

The love that Kellan and Lilly have for each other goes beyond the physical. (Which is still blue flame hot, BTW.) They are truly connected, heart and soul. To see what they both had to go through throughout this story is going to make you weep and then cheer even harder.

The air of mystery and the element of suspense really drive this story. Every time I thought I had it figured out, well, the ending blew me away, and it will for you too.

Is this the end of the beautiful world and country that Ms. Quinn has created? I surely hope not, some of the secondary characters need their own stories told!

My Review...

I always know when I start a new story by this phenomenal author, I am going to be pulled into the story and invest in her characters hard.

The final Fox sister gets her story and what a trip it is.

The beautiful landscape of the mountains of West Virginia is where this story is set, and let me tell you, if there is a motel like the Mountain Motel, I would be there in a heartbeat.

Lindee thinks of herself as a wandering soul, but deep down, she wants to belong to one place. She carries a lot of self-baggage, and because of that, she feels like she will never be “enough”.

Thad is a mystery, wrapped in a past that is slow to emerge. He, too, has baggage and is trying hard to free himself of the negative, look forward, and create a new and better future for himself and those he loves.

Readers are going to find themselves immersed in this story of fate written in the stars, following roads less traveled and finding a place to plant your roots.

I cannot express how much I love Ms. Dunbar’s later-in-life romances, with vintage characters still bringing the heat and heart we all love!

This story…shook me! A second-chance romance for the ages.

This is Dean and Milly’s story.

Well, hello, Morally Gray… 

This is the name of the new series, and the first story is Liars Like Us.

This is the story of how far one would go for love. The thin line between love and obsession rules throughout the story of Callum and Emery.

On the one hand, I fell hard for Callum; the way that Ms. Geissinger creates this character made me melt as fast as Emery did. But on the other hand, I could see how much he pushed the boundaries to get what he wanted.

I could understand the turmoil that Emery was going through, from her business, to her friends and her relationship with Callum. The way that Ms. Geissinger is able to write so spot on and eloquently speaks to the writing talent she has.

I enjoyed the air of mystery; the intrigue and the humor was spot on.

I have always enjoyed the writings of J.T. Geissinger, and this book is no exception! This book was impossible to put down once I started!

The tin man with a new twist is the fantastic premise to the newest story from the talented mind of Ms. Boldt.

This is the story of Ella and Steele.

Two complete opposites that become the missing piece that they both need.

I loved the spunk and sassiness of Ella. I admired her background. I also loved her heritage and how it made her the person that she is. Bold, brassy, and not afraid to stand up for those she loves.

Steele is quite the character himself. His sad upbringing and the gilded cage he lived in really shaped him into the man he had become. But still waters run deep in this fellow. His heart, even though it is covered deep, was waiting for just the right person to set it free.

I am always excited when I see a new story coming from Ms. Boldt, and this story is no exception. It was hard to put down once I started, and now I am a bit sad when I was finished.

Holy crow! I had never wanted to become a character in a book before, but when I finished this story, I knew I wanted to be Betsy. I so want to become her when I grow up!

This is the story of Wes and Betsy.

This story has all the emotions! I laughed like crazy, I swooned like a Jane Austen character, and I cried tears of joy and pain.

I applaud Ms. Sloan for making her hero not only an alpha, but an alpha that is in touch with his feelings and emotions and is not afraid to show them.

Betsy is all that and a bag of chips, the epitome of a true southern lady with enough spice to make her a firecracker. I loved how she loved herself; I floved how she stood up for herself and those she loved.

I loved the whole cast of characters, new and old, and I am hoping and keeping all my fingers crossed that we will see more from the crew from Rolling Hills!
