My Review…

Another new to me author, another fantastic book!

Think Twice is a about 4 people….but don’t let that scare you, this story is fast paced and such a page turner! It doesn’t get bogged down with the details, it’s written smoothly and even with four different POV’s it’s seamless.

PJ, Dylan, Danielle and Jack…all connected by history and family. Two different love stories that are put together so effortlessly.

Now I have never read Stephanie Rose before, but I was able to pick up this story and dive into it head first.  There seems like there are past characters with back stories that I should know but it didn’t overwhelm me.  It made the story more in depth.

This is a slow burn story, for all of the characters and I loved that! They took the time, they took the effort and Ms. Rose didn’t rush the characters. That was admirable.

Now I will admit, the age gap, at first made me twinge.  Just a bit, but the more I read, the more I felt comfortable and that’s a true testament to good writing, to bring a reader around to the author’s way of thinking.  Well done!

I am going to check out Ms. Rose’s past books and get them added to my TBR list!!

Ms. Lind has the lockdown on sweet and sexy stories.

Against the Boards is the story of Reese and Austin.

Reese is a country superstar with a bit of shaky past.  Being a singer is all she has ever wanted to be and she has come through her history with strength and grace.

Austin is a hockey superstar in his prime.  He does what he loves and he does it well.

Reese and Austin’s relationship is magic to read.  From the separations to the reunions it was beautiful and what true love should be.  Ms. Lind’s descriptions of both Reese and Austin’s worlds, both hockey and singer bring a richness to the story that helps draw you in.

It was lovely to see old characters make appearances, and the new secondary characters bring a light hearted boost to the story.

With Ms. Lind’s stories you get heart, soul and holy hotness!  You just can’t go wrong when her stories are so right.

Oh Ms. Steiner, I crown you the queen of angst! You have a magical talent to take a reader’s heart and mind and put them in a blender set on frappe!

I have loved Reese since the What He Doesn’t Know Duet. I was hoping a praying for his beautiful ending to go with his beautiful soul.

Ms. Steiner gives us this for Reese and so much more.

Sarah was the perfect soul to find Reese. She was tragically hurt, she has a beautiful soul and she is magical at the piano. She went through the absolute worst thing that can happen to a human and she was scarred, she was scared and she was determined to fulfill her dream despite it.

If you get the e-edition of this book, you are going to be blown away by the links to the music, interwoven in the story. I was listening and reading and it just made the story more epic, more real, more everything. Even if you are not a classical music fan, you will appreciate how much the music plays into the story.

You see past characters, and I swear I wanted to smack one in particular, I am not going to say who, but believe me you are gonna want to also! Reese is trying hard to move on from the past and this person keeps dragging him back!! I was yelling “Stop it” every time!

Reese and Sarah heal each other through music, through love and through friendship and trust. Their story is going to move you, just like it moved me.

A true testament to fantastic writing, this book is going to give you all the feels, in epic Kandi Steiner fashion!

What a lovely gift for your mum!!

She Found Him is the story of an Aussie gal, Rose, a charming American guy, Liam and a cute little lost dog named Wilbur/Wilby.

Rose and Liam have the best and funniest meet cute that I have read in a long time! And the nickname that Liam gives Rose because of that is stellar!

Ms. Cranford really shows her range in this story. She is still sassy, she is still hilariously funny and dare I admit, educational! I mean come on, who doesn’t want to learn some fun Aussie slang?!?

This story is sweet in all the best ways! Yes there are fade to black moments but that does not take away from the love and steaminess brewing between Rose and Liam. In fact I think it just ramps it up more, gives the reader a chance to use their own imagination on what goes on between the two of them in those moments.

I can understand and empathize with Rose’s homesickness, her need for closure and her trepidation. And I can totally empathize with her not know what she wants to be when she grows up! I am still trying to figure that out myself and I am almost twice her age!

Liam is a closet alpha, I loved his inner dialogue! His willingness to do whatever he needs to do to keep Rose in his world.

Loved the tie in with her story on Book + Main! I love Lucas!!

If you are looking for sweet and steamy, get your hands on this!! Well done B.!! I tip my hat to you!

OK, OK…I am loving 2019 so far! Another new to me author, another author to stalk!

The Wrong Gentleman is going to take you on an amazing adventure! From London, to Ohio to the beautiful Mediterranean.  Ms. Bay weaves magic in her words and brings you there!

This is the story of Skylar and Landon, two people who are not who they appear to be.  One building walls to protect themselves, the other building up a b web of lies for a the protection of lives.

This story made me stop and think.  The dialogue between Skylar and Landon was insightful and thoughtful.  It’s a thinking gal romance and I loved it!

The chemistry between Landon and Skylar was electric and the swoony demands from Landon turned me into a puddle of goo….”I like to watch you. Undress for me…” Gahhhhhh just perfection!

It was moving to see the process of the two of them falling in love.  The lengths that Landon went through to protect Skylar.  The excuses that Skylar kept telling herself to make less of what she was feeling.

I will be putting ALL of the other books by Ms. Bay on my TBR list! If you haven’t read her before, don’t be like me, get into this story! If you have read her before, well you know you are in for one hell of a story!

The Hartigans

I am so in love with this series! And I have to honestly say, at this point Avery could publish her grocery list and I would devour it like it was my last meal.

Tomboy is the story of Fallon Hartigan and Zack Blackburn.  We got a small taste of them in Muffin Top and I knew I was gonna love on both these characters hard.

Fallon is unapologetically a tomboy, and I love that about her.  With the large, loud Irish family she has, it has made her strong, independent and a fighter of those that are wronged.  But that urge to fight can also become a downfall. Sometimes blind fury at some injustice can come back to bite you in the backside.

Zack has the world fooled with his alphahole behavior. The most hated man in Harbor City, oh pahleeze! We find out that because of the ultimate betrayal, Zack has learned to build wall high, wide and deep around him. But with meeting Fallon, the walls slowly start getting chipped away.

As with all of Avery’s stories, the humor is amazing, the world she creates in Harbor City is stellar and the chemistry between Zack and his Lady Luck is electric!

Avery is definitely a “one-click” author for me and I cannot wait to see what she writes next! Oh and in closing, I will say I am am totally #TeamZuck!!
