In a Jam by Kate Canterbary is now live!
She’s the one who got away. She just doesn’t know it.
When Shay Zucconi’s step-grandmother died, she left Shay a tulip farm—under two conditions.
First, Shay has to move home to the small town of Friendship, Rhode Island. Second—and most problematic since her fiancé just called off the wedding—Shay must be married within one year.
Marriage is the last thing in the world Shay wants but she’ll do anything to save the only real home she’s ever known.
Noah Barden loved Shay Zucconi back in high school. Not that he ever told her. He was too shy, too awkward, too painfully uncool to ask out the beautiful, popular girl.
A lifetime later, Noah is a single dad to his niece and has his hands full running the family business. That old crush is the farthest thing from his mind.
Until Shay returns to their hometown and turns his life upside down.

My Review...
As a long-time fan of Ms. Canterbary, I was waiting anxiously for the Jam Man’s story. She was giving us readers hints and glimpses throughout her books, and now we get all the deliciousness that is Noah Barden!
Ms. Canterbary writes what I like to call, smart girl romances. Stories that make you think and make you feel just better about the world. She touches on sensitive subjects with respect and dignity. Her stories really resonate with me and make me feel like I am not alone in a world full of chaos.
This story of Noah and Shay is such a breath of fresh air. I swooned hard over Noah and how he loved Shay hard. I loved his inner bad boy and whew the smexy times between Shay…hot dang, Ms. Canterbary…you really know how to bring the heat!
This is a slow burn of a story, and I could really relate to Shay; I could understand her issues with trust and stability and what family really means. I love that her friends are her ride or dies. I know the inner battle she has with herself and how skewed her self-worth and self-esteem were.
I always feel so much better after reading a Kate Canterbary story. I don’t know how to phrase it correctly or with the feelings she brings to me when reading, but I really do admire and adore her! This story is just another jewel in the talented crown of Kate.
