The Callahan Series…

I was so waiting for Walker and Hannah’s story! This story can be read as a standalone but I had the honor to read and review the first book in this series. So I have had the chance to “meet” Walker and Hannah before.

Hannah is a victim of domestic abuse. Ms. Aarons handles this horrific situation with grace, dignity and an honesty that really brings the reader in. I could really empathize with what Hannah was going through. 

Walker has a true saviors complex. He has had feelings for Hannah for a long time, even before she married. So when the opportunity presents itself to Walker to be more to Hannah and be a part of her orbit, he jumps at the chance.

They have a bit of a whirlwind relationship. I was leary that it was going too fast, too soon, but the feelings and chemistry that they had was building over the years. 

I also admired the fact that Hannah became strong and self-reliant, on her own. She did lean on Walker, but when push comes to shove, she steps up to the plate and does things on her own.

I am so enjoying this family and their dynamics! I cannot wait to see what comes next!!
