This is the stunning conclusion of Emma & Jax’s story and what a wild ride it is!

Secrets uncovered, hearts broken and families healed.  You can’t go wrong with this!

Emma and Jax fight for what they have together and fight for it they do.

Ms. Jones keeps you guessing until the very end.  This story moves fast and you have to read it slowly to make sure you don’t miss anything!

The secondary characters are important and bring so much to the story.   I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Savage next!

I wish I worked in the Green Valley Public Library!

This lovely story of Finley and Zeke.

Finley has moved to Green Valley to nurse her bruised heart and finalize her divorce.  This poor girl was put through the wringer and with the help of her GramBea and GramBea’s crew, she starts to feel better.

Zeke is a tech volunteer at the library. He is in Green Valley to find some answers about his life and his history.

I loved the Native American history and vibe to the story.  I also like the “nerdiness” of Zeke and also his old school charm.

The chemistry between Finley and Zeke is phenomenal. I also love how Zeke was able to help push Finley to become more self-aware of her gifts and her value!

There is moments in this story where you are gonna laugh out loud at the embarrassing things that happen to poor Finley and it makes her even more loveable!

This is the first story I have read by Ms. Ashley and I can’t wait to read more!  This story fits so well with the whole Green Valley world!

I just flove Ms. Shen’s standalone stories and this story is one of the top reads by Ms. Shen so far!

This story is about Rory and Mal, but it’s so much more.  It’s kismet and destiny and how the whole wide world doesn’t feel as big as it is.  It’s a shared past and hidden truths, it’s misinformation and unrequited feelings of hurt, anger, and love….

Malachy is a true artist, his whole being screams it. His is the epitome of an artist’s soul and an artist’s heart and you can’t help but love him and sometimes love to hate him.  Ms. Shen was able to write a character that you could really “see” with Malachy.

Rory, oh this girl…she is so sheltered from the world and she doesn’t even know it!  When the secrets and omissions come to light you can see her world unravel and then get woven back together even stronger.

You get all the feels with this book, laughter…the different POVs in this story were fantastically funny and sometimes sad and hard to read but read it you must.  This story will compel you to finish it and you will be glad you did.  It’s gonna make you a bit misty and even cry, but it’s so worth it.  And oh my me you are gonna swoon during the smexy times!! I needed a fan, a stiff drink and a cigarette (don’t judge 🙂 ) after reading this!

The Dumonts – Book Two

Now this book can be totally read as a stand-alone, each story in this series can totally stand on its own.

Now that being said, I was lucky enough to read and review the first book in this series Discretion and when I did, I was so intrigued by Seraphine.  So when I found out the next book was her’s? I was excited!

This is Seraphine & Blaise’s story and what an adventure it is.  To read Seraphine’s backstory and how she became a Dumont is such a heartfelt part of the story.  You can see where her tenacity comes from and also her vulnerabilities.  She is strong because she has to be and finding justice for her father is what drives her.

Blaise is truly the black sheep of the family, not because he wants to be, but because of the twisted way his side of the Dumont family is.  He struggles to want to belong and yet he knows there is something very, very wrong with the new patriarch of the Dumont family.

As with all of Ms. Halle’s books, they are rich in visual words that make the reader feel like they are on the streets of Paris, the hot sun of Dubai or even Disneyland.  (Wait and read and you will see too!)

This story will truly show you what love really means, the chemistry between Seraphine and Blaise is beautiful to read and oh so smexy!  Get your hands on this story and find yourself being transported into a rich, dark and sensual world!

The Baileys

I so love this family and the stories that come from the dynamic duo of Piper Rayne.

This is Denver and Cleo’s story…

When I was reading, especially when Grandma Dori was talking about Denver in his childhood, I was thinking of the old Bugs Bunny cartoon when the abominable snowman has Bugs in his grasp, stroking him and saying “I will call him George, and I will love him and pet him and squeeze him…” Denver is slow to love but when he does, whoo wee, he loves hard and Cleo loves him right back.

I had a special place in my heart for Denver, he was truly a self-centered playboy but I knew when the right person came alone it would change his world.

As with all of the Baileys stories, you get a bit of a twist and hint of mystery in the story which just makes it all the more of a phenomenal read.

I also love the fact that you get to see what the rest of the Baileys are up to, it’s like a little family reunion every time you open a new story in this series.  I also enjoy the lead-ups to future stories!! I can’t wait to read Phoenix’s story next, it’s gonna be amazing, just like the other stories in this series!

Rough Ink

With every book I read from Ms. Ellis (and I’ll admit, it’s ALL of them) I admire her work more and more.  You can tell she is really finding her groove and her confidence in her storytelling.

This is Spider and Emi’s story.  First off, I like the fact that she embraces characters from all walks of life and ethnicity. I admire that about her and I also admire that her character’s ethnicity is almost secondary to what her characters feel and how they relate to each other and the relationships they forge.  It’s like an afterthought and shows that love is colorblind and it’s beautiful.

The tragedies that both characters face is heartbreaking and would totally break a lesser person.  But the strength of both Spider and Emi and their unbelievable strength together is phenomenal.  Even with their tragic and catastrophic initial meeting (it was no meet-cute by any stretch of the imagination) the love that these two characters had for each other was amazing.

The chemistry between Spider and Emi was volcanic and oh so swoony!  Reading past characters and the other crew at SK:eTCH was like a bit of a family reunion and I can’t wait to see more stories from this cast of characters.

You can’t go wrong with and MV Ellis book!  Get your hands on it!!
