I’m the good girl from Ashton Hills.
Rich. Pampered. Spoiled.
Slowly suffocating under my mother’s stifling thumb.
He’s the bad boy from Duncan.
Poor. Abused. Criminal.
Being swallowed by the darkness each passing second.
Two lost souls searching for freedom and happiness.
We’re lonely—broken—and trapped.
Until the universe brings us together.
Sometimes love is instantaneous.
A supernova collision of emotions.
Something that cannot be ignored.
As our hearts tangle to the point they’ll never be able to part, the past comes creeping up like an evil villain. The mistakes of our parents become our consequences to face.
We’re madly, deeply, foolishly in love.
Soul mates who finally found each other.
Two people who share the same father.

About Danielle James
Danielle James is a wife and mother of two, who lives in Virginia. She spends her days in the kitchen baking cookies and cupcakes for the local farmers market. When her face isn’t hovering over a mixing bowl, she’s writing dark and twisted erotica and romance novels.
Her books are sexually charged with alpha female characters that leap off the pages. Each book sucks you into an entirely different world with steamy scenes, drama, and amazing plot twists along the way. Her goal is to hook you and keep you addicted so you’ll come back for more.
I have loved and devoured all K. Webster’s books. No matter what she writes…twisted, dark, sexy or sweet, I am reading everything by her!
So when I was lucky enough to get an ARC copy of her collaboration with Danielle James, I knew was going to go down the rabbit hole yet again! This story is a fast paced, page turner that I couldn’t put down until the very end.
These ladies do not disappoint, nor do they make the subject of the story, even though it’s taboo, ugly or over done. To me it wasn’t the main point of the story. It was about the love between Mars & Sage. Two young people that find out too late what loving each other really means and rising above it, like dragonflies.
I love the analogy of dragonflies, I remember an old story that my grandmother told me that dragonflies mate for life…is it true? Who know, but I thought about my grandmother’s story and it just made me love Like Dragonflies more.
Don’t let the subject of this story detract you from reading it. It’s a beautiful love story, it’s haunting and angsty and perfect.
Well done ladies, I hope you decide to write together again someday!

baby. Alright, alright, I’m not a total jerk, but the temporary virtual assistant Carla left in her place is driving me crazy.

Yet again, I say…this is just one of the million things I love about blogging. New to me authors! Claudia Burgoa, who I had the honor to meet last fall, is a new to me author and I am amazed with her story!
Maybe Later is a story about two people, who have created different personas for different reasons.
What starts as a business relationship develops in to a grudging friendship and then more.
I loved the banter between the two main characters, I don’t want to name them because each “name” gives away too much.
I loved how each “name” had different characteristics of the same person. What they wanted the world to see and what they only show to people they trust. And for the both of them trust doesn’t come easy.
This is a slow burn, but I think their friendship builds so much more for them. It was agonizing to see how they were falling for who they thought was one person but wishing it was the other.
This sounds complex and confusing, I know, but when you read this story it will unfold beautifully and with just the right timing.
I was so happy with how this ended, it wasn’t rushed, it wasn’t pushed, it came together at just the right time!
I can’t wait to add Ms. Burgoa’s other stories onto my TBR list. I am so glad I got the opportunity to read and review this story!

I might have gotten myself into a wee bit of trouble—and I’m not talking about the “court mandated community service,” or “therapy sessions from bashing a bloke in the head” kind of trouble.
I wish it were that simple.
Nope. I’m talking about the “falling in love with one of my client’s daughters,” kind of trouble . . .
The kind of problem I can’t talk my way out of when the truth gets out.
How I ended up with her phone is a long story—and when she called to get it back, I took things a bit too far. One innocent exchange wound up leading to so much more.
Fun, new, and totally immune to my charm, Sutton is different. And I had no idea she was the daughter of Foster Green.
Blame it on the dark colored stout running through my veins, pushing me toward one bad decision after another. Pushing me toward her even though I know right from wrong; even though she’s my client’s daughter.
Dating her might be the best or worst decision I’ve ever made. Only time, whiskey, and one more roll around the mattress with her will tell.
USA Today Bestselling Author, wife, adoptive mother, and peanut butter lover. Author of romantic comedies and contemporary romance, Meghan Quinn brings readers the perfect combination of heart, humor, and heat in every book.
I knew when I read The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister. I wanted to know more about that Irish devil Roark. And Meghan has come through yet again!
Diary of a Bad Boy is Roark & Sutton’s story and what a fun, steamy story it is.
Roark has a lot of scars from his past. His outlook on life involves whiskey, cigarettes, making money and women, in almost that order. He is dealing with the scars from his past in a none too healthy way, but it’s his normal until he is forced to change it.
Enter Sutton, a small town girl trying hard to live in the big city. Trying to expand her bubble when Roark comes and pops that bubble like it’s his mission.
This is truly a slow burn type of story and it’s wonderful! The connection and the chemistry between Roark and Sutton is ballistic and it was fresh to read the bit of role reversal in Sutton’s push to become physical. I can almost hear Roark’s accent get thicker when he gets fired up!
Roark’s diary entries are brilliant, funny, meaningful and thoughtful.
The secondary characters, like in all of Meghan’s stories are phenomenal and bring so much more!
This story is funny…I mean laugh out loud funny…wait till you read and you will see, if you aren’t laughing, something’s broke!
I am always amazed and entertained by Meghan’s stories! And even though you see past characters in this story, it can totally be read as a standalone!

The words “For Lila, forever” adorned the front of the envelope in blue ink, the handwriting all too familiar. But it didn’t matter what it said. I didn’t have the heart to open it.
We couldn’t be together.
Not after everything …
Leaving Rose Crossing, Maine was one of the most painful moments of my life—or at least it was until the day I came face-to-face with Thayer Ainsworth again.
After a decade of searching, he’s found me, and he wants to know why I quit my housemaid job and left his family’s island estate without so much as a goodbye. But I’m bound by a devastating secret much bigger than the two of us, and telling him the truth has consequences.
Looking into the eyes of the only man I’ve ever loved, I tell him the only thing I’m allowed to: never contact me again. And when he’s gone, I sit down and finally open his letter.
Only it isn’t a letter at all.
It changes everything.
