Oh how I love the boys of Jackson Harbor! Carter Jackson is no exception.

Crazy for Your Love is Carter and Teagan’s story.

They have know each other for years. The Jackson family has taken Teagan in as an honorary member. But for their own reasons and scars from their past has always kept Carter and Teagan in the “just friends” category.

But circumstances force the two of them to pretend to be more to each other. Then the lines between friendship and more become fuzzy.

One of the many reasons why I fell for Carter is his humor. His crazy nicknames for Teagan throughout the story made me chuckle. His scars have changed him in some not so healthy ways. Watching him struggle through his guilt was moving and made me hurt for him.

Oh Teagan, what a secret you have kept to yourself for all those years! To see her struggle was just as moving. To see her try to put on the brave face, the “I’m fine” persona was heartbreaking.

Ms. Ryan has created a beautiful world in Jackson Harbor and this story just adds more to it. I cannot wait for Shay’s story, but I am sad that that may be the last we will see of the Jackson family. Get this story, heck get the whole series, you will thank me!

My Review…

This is a new to me author and this thriller is amazing!

The Stillwater Girls is a story full of intrigue, it kept me guessing until the end and what an ending it was! I actually gasped when all the truth was revealed.

This story also has hope and bravery, the girls are forced into a world they don’t know and they handle it as brave as can be expected.

The premise of this story is scary and believable! I think that is what scared me the most. The vivid pictures that Ms. Kent writes with her words will put you right into the scene. Her descriptions were amazing. I caught myself reading a paragraph and then stopping to let it soak in.

I loved the alternating POV’s in this story, each person’s story (I don’t want to spoil it) flows beautifully into the next.

Read this book like a fine glass of wine, slowly sip and savor the words, you don’t want to miss any clues and insights into what is going to happen next.

I really enjoyed this story! I hope to add Ms. Kent’s other novels to my TBR list.

In Light of Shadows Book 2

Oh man! This story is just getting better and better!

This is the continuing story of Clive and Eva and you get more of the goodness!

Eva is standing her ground, not letting anyone or anything shake her or her love for Clive. I love how she is standing up to Clive too! She is in no way letting him run roughshod over her independence, but also knowing when to lean on Clive when needed.

Clive is still an amazing hero, I love how he listens to Eva and adjusts to her needs. But standing firm on some issues.

And the intrigue in this story! At this point almost every secondary character in this book has a motive or opportunity to be “the informant”! And it’s driving me bonkers (in a good way) trying to figure out who the hell is this person!?!

You have to read the first book in this series to follow along with this story, and now I am going to dive into the final story of the series Killing Eva….gahhhh that title alone is giving me fits!!

This is a fantastic series so far and can’t wait to read how it ends!

“More of that…”

That’s what this story is, it is more.

Eleanor and Grey is going to take your heart and your soul. This story going to take your heart and soul and shatter them. This story is going to then take the scattered pieces of your heart and soul and heal them, change them and make them fly. This story is going to follow you for a long, long time.

You are going to need a box of tissues when you read this story, it made me cry, it made me ugly cry in all of the best ways. It also made me feel hope, that when the people you love most leave this world, they stay with you, they “stay in your heartbeats…” (more beautiful quotes are abound in this story…you will see…)

I loved that the relationship between Eleanor and Grey changed as needed. I loved the fierceness in which Grey loved Nicole (yes, you read this right….) and the fierceness that Grey loved Eleanor. I loved the understanding and unconditional love that Eleanor had for Grey and his family.

This story is about so much more than Eleanor and Grey, it’s about love and loss and putting the shattered pieces of your heart back together, it won’t be the same, it will be cracked and scarred. But it can love again, in new and glorious ways. This story is going to give you hope, I know it did for me.

Ms. Cherry, your writing amazes me, your stories are beautiful to behold and an honor to read. You create magic in your words. And if I can wish for one thing it would be “More of that, Ms. Cherry”.
