About THE REASON I MARRIED HIM:
He proposed . . . and I said yes. Normally a jovial occasion for a couple in love, but this proposal has a very different feel. Because the man that I’ll be calling my husband blew into town with one thing on his mind . . . to make my life a living nightmare.
So why did I say yes?
Well, because we both need something from each other.
Namely, I want the farm land he currently owns, and he needs a wife in order to inherit his family cabin in his grandfather’s will.
So as he so eloquently put it, my hand, for his land.
At first, I thought the idea was nuts. Who really gets married out of convenience? Apparently, I do.
And now we have to sell our relationship to the town. Meaning, we’re holding hands, he’s pinching my cheeks . . . upper and lower. We’re even forced to share the one-bedroom guest house on the farm where his monstrous body is taking up a large percentage of the bed.
But we’re so persuasive about our farse, that now I’m starting to think he actually might like me. Especially when he grabs me by the wrist and teases the shell of my ear as he whispers, “Mine.”
Oh what a long-awaited welcome back to Almond Bay and to the Rowley siblings!
This is the story of Aubree and Wyatt.
Aubree Rowley is a tough nut to crack. But she has had good reasons to build a hard outer shell and to most she comes across as gruff, grumpy and a don’t mess with me attitude that the townspeople take as gospel.
Wyatt, oh my me…his relationship with the Rowley family has a few layers, and when I read about him, oh my heart just flutters. He makes me twitter-pated, yeah I said it! The tenacity, humor, and the over-the-top drama and theatrics from him make him the perfect spoil to the curmudgeonly of Aubree.
Ms. Quinn has this ability to create worlds that readers want to move to, to wish were real.
The pièce de résistance of this story is the easter eggs aplenty and the crossover of characters from her other worlds. However, if you are a new to her reader, never fear, go into this story with your whole heart and it will leave you just as giddy as a long-time reader of Ms. Quinn’s stories.
Everyone knows that if there was an award for biggest small town grump, Liam Ashton would win for Hope Crest, Pennsylvania no questions asked.
The reclusive, brooding farmer might be part of the family business and do anything for those closest to him, but his bark keeps almost everyone else away. Perhaps that’s what happens when you fall in love at first sight but aren’t allowed to be with the soulmate you didn’t realize you were looking for.
When the forbidden woman of his dreams blows back into town, he might finally get a shot to convince her they’re destined to be together. Only, her denials and refusals won’t let him get anywhere near her.
Gabrielle Murphy swore she’d never return to the town where she took her first teaching job. She’d done the right thing, once upon a time, and there is no room to question what if.
But when the only woman who ever understood her passes and leaves her to clean up the pieces, she can’t exactly say no. Get in, fulfill her grandmother’s wishes, and get out. That’s the plan. Until Liam confronts her and they give in to the unmatched inferno that’s been blazing between them forever.
Even though there is nothing standing in the way of a happily ever after this time, Gabrielle still can’t let this surly version of the Liam she once knew love her completely.
Until a surprise binds them to each other for the foreseeable future, and they have to forgive enough to move forward. But just as the ice around their hearts starts to thaw, darker outside forces threaten to ruin their chance before it’s even taken.

Author of romance novels such as Fleeting and Love at First Fight, Carrie Aarons writes books that are just as swoon-worthy as they are sarcastic. Her stories are fueled by vanilla lattes, meloncholy music, and copious amounts of candles.
When she isn’t writing, Carrie is busy binging reality TV, having a love/hate relationship with cardio, and trying not to burn dinner. She lives in farm country with her husband, two children and ninety-pound rescue pup.
I am really enjoying getting to know the Ashton family and the town of Hope Crest.
This is the story of Liam, the broody oldest sibling of the Ashton family, and Gabrielle, the forbidden temptation of Liam.
I loved Liam’s broodiness and his need for solitude. Still waters run deep in this Ashton. I also loved how he was around Gabrielle, the softness that Liam has hidden deep comes to the surface.
Oh, Gabrielle, I empathized with her past. I was cheering her on to overcome her upbringing and believe in herself and in Liam.
The bit of thrills and chills always brings me even closer to the characters and has me invested in their happily ever after.
It was lovely to “see” past characters make their appearances known and to be able to catch up with how their futures were bright.
I also loved the hints and crumbs that were scattered throughout for future stories.
I can’t wait to come back to Hope Crest in future stories to see what happens next with the Ashton family.
Love wasn’t part of the blueprint when high school sweethearts reunite in their small town. But this former military man never forgot the girl he left behind and he’s more determined than ever to rebuild their relationship brick by brick and heart by heart.
Getting locked in the men’s restroom during my mother’s funeral wasn’t exactly how I expected to run into my high school sweetheart. The one who got away. The one who broke my heart.
I could toss the busted doorknob in my hand at him, but I’d prefer to get the heck away. Because twenty years later, Knox Sylver isn’t a teenage boy anymore but a broad-shouldered, thick scruff man with eyes that still look at me like I’m the only person in the room.
As a newly divorced mother of two teenagers, it’s been a long time since anyone sees me. And Knox is definitely watching.
Unfortunately, he made choices in the past and I wasn’t one of them.
According to him, that is ancient history.
Also, according to him, it’s never too late for a second chance. He’s out to prove he’s solid and stable, having returned to our small hometown, in a better place after a career in the military. He’s a local hero as a fireman and he wants to rekindle the flame between us.
I’m the one with decisions this round.
Do I stay where memories hurt? Or do I leave my past, and Knox, behind me again?

From L.B. Dunbar comes an all-new small-town romance with a big family and the silver fox swoon one expects from her love over-40 romances.
Dear readers, let me tell you, that while this story can be read as a stand-alone; I highly encourage you to read the entire series.
This is Shane and Amelia’s story. It’s a friends-to-lovers story at its finest.
My favorite type of hero is Shane. He is quiet and when he does speak it’s worth hearing. When he speaks to Amelia it’s like a one-way ticket to swoon city!
Amelia is a woman I could totally empathize with. She is finding her groove as a single mom who has learned from her past and does not want to repeat the mistakes she made.
The relationship between Shane and Amelia could be considered an insta love, but it’s been built over a lifetime of friendship.
I absolutely love this series; the characters really draw you into the world that Ms. Sloan has created and I could totally see myself in Rolling Hills!
From Wall Street Journal and #1 Amazon bestselling author Winter Renshaw comes a sizzling romance about two people who fall in love, go their separate ways, and then try to reconnect against all odds.
Always a bridesmaid, never a bride—and that’s the way I like it.
I may be anti-marriage, but I’m still pro-romance. Case in point? That sexy curmudgeon I met last year during my cousin’s tropical bachelorette getaway.
That grump was Dorian, the groom’s old college roommate, there for the bachelor party. I couldn’t get enough of his messy brown hair and gorgeous turquoise eyes. We connected on a deep level—emotionally and physically.
But the timing wasn’t right. So we made a pact to reconnect in two years. Now I’m starting a new “job.” It’ll take a lot of work and pays really well—I’m talking seven figures here. All I have to do is pretend to be my boss’s new fiancée…and spend eight weeks with his family on their private island. How hard could it be?
Turns out, a lot harder than I thought. Because the man I’m pretending to love? He’s Dorian’s brother, and now all bets are off…
Single dad, hockey coach, and the last guy this single mom should fall for.
Where It Begins, an all-new swoon-filled Pucked novella from New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting, is available now!
From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Helena Hunting comes a new story in her Pucked series. The untold story of Skye and Sidney, and the origin story where Vi and Miller are teens when their parents start dating and fall in love…
I accidentally grabbed the wrong drink at the coffee shop. On the upside, the hot guy it belonged to chased me down to kindly swap with me. On the down side, the reason I grabbed the wrong drink in the first place is because the hot guy had just caught me checking out his ass…sets.
In my defense, his rear view is rather magnificent.
In true, humiliating form, I word-vomited a bunch of horrible nonsense. Including an unnecessary explanation of the trauma I’d evaded thanks to his chasing me down. Nothing could ruin my lactose-intolerant day faster than my one true nemesis: dairy.
I did not expect him to ask me out on a date after that.
I also didn’t expect the date to go well since my tendency to truth-vomit is high, and not everyone finds that quality endearing.
But apparently he does. Because he asks me out again. And again.
Sidney Butterson (yes, it’s a weird last name) ticks all my boxes. He’s smart, he’s funny, he’s employed and he’s ridiculously hot. There’s one catch.
We’re both single parents. With teens.
And if our kids don’t like each other? Well, we’re doomed.
**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you’ll enjoy each one as much as we do.**
Hubert, the barista, calls out, “Skye and Sidney! Your lattes are ready!” I rush forward and grab mine, muttering a hasty, “Thanks!” Then beeline for the exit. Of course, that’s the moment a hoard of teens barrel through the door, forcing me to hold it open until the entire gaggle has stormed the café. Once outside, I hustle to the crosswalk. I punch the button and glare as the sign counts down from thirty. And then I hear my name being called. I glance toward the café and, much to my horror, the attractive man whose butt I was admiring is rushing toward me, coffee in hand. “Hey! You’re Skye, right?” he asks. “Yes. That’s me.” Maybe he didn’t mind my checking out his butt. “You took the wrong coffee.” He taps the side of the cup with the name SKYE written in Larissa’s lovely cursive. “Oh.” I turn mine around and see Sidney scrawled on the side. And it’s a pumpkin spice latte. Half sweet, skim milk. “Wow. I would have spent the rest of the afternoon working from a bathroom stall if you hadn’t caught me.” At his questioning expression, I continue with the embarrassing word vomit. “I’m lactose intolerant and this much dairy would mean stomach cramps for days.” I bite my lips together and close my eyes. “Sorry. You didn’t need to know that. I haven’t taken a sip. See. No lipstick prints.” I thrust the cup toward him and reluctantly crack a lid. He’s smiling. Widely. “I’m very glad I caught you when I did then. I wouldn’t want to be responsible for an afternoon of prolonged discomfort.” We exchange takeout cups. “It would’ve been my fault for not checking more than the S, but I was trying to escape my embarrassment. Seems like it’s following me around and making things worse.” I step away from this exceptionally hot man who inspires an unprecedented amount of word vomit. “Thank you for stopping me. You, uh…you didn’t drink out of mine, did you?” “I didn’t.” His eyes are blue. So vibrant and pretty and his teeth are straight. I glance at his hand. His ring finger is bare. Then I realize he’s giving my hand the same inspection. “Do you work around here?” “Just across the street.” I thumb over my shoulder. “You?” “No, but I’m in the area often.” He tucks a hand in his pocket. “Maybe you’d like to grab a coffee later this week?” I blink at him. Then open my mouth and ask a stupid question. “Are you asking me out?” “Unless you’re already seeing someone. I didn’t see a ring, so I was hopeful.” His bottom lip slides through his teeth and for a moment, he looks boyishly handsome. “But…you don’t know anything about me.” I don’t know why I haven’t said yes yet. He’s attractive and thoughtful enough to stop me from drinking the wrong coffee. His kindness saved me from ending up curled in the fetal position on a bathroom floor. He rubs the back of his neck. “I’ve seen you here before. I’ve been working up the nerve to introduce myself. Looks like the universe gave me a push in the right direction.” He holds up a hand and gives his head a little shake. “I’m probably making this awkward. I’ll be here Wednesday at eleven-thirty. Hopefully, I’ll see you then.” And with that, he turns and disappears into the crowd.
In a sizzling romance that sparkles with wit and depth, two wounded souls meet by chance in the desert and agree to get married, and their lives will never be the same.
On a normal day, Emmaline Darling isn’t a car thief. She’s just a simple girl who runs a bookstore and adores cats. But when she’s stranded in the desert and needs to get away from her dangerous ex-boyfriend, she picks her only option: swiping the keys to a famous football player’s Lamborghini and speeding away.
Football star Graham Harlan is in chaos. First he took a hit on the field that left him with a near-death experience, and now he’s promised his brother he’ll get married to secure the family inheritance. Trouble is he isn’t even seeing anyone.
Then a mystery woman steals his car. With his usual stubbornness, he tracks her all the way to Manhattan and gives her an ultimatum: marry me or I’ll press charges.
Her choice is obvious, only neither of them expect the sparks that ignite between them.
As the end of their arrangement looms, will Graham take a chance on love or let his darling walk away forever?

#1 Amazon Charts, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and USA Today best-selling author Ilsa Madden-Mills pens angsty new adult and contemporary romances.
A former high school English teacher and librarian, she adores all things Pride and Prejudice, and of course, Mr. Darcy is her ultimate hero.
She’s addicted to frothy coffee beverages, cheesy magnets, and any book featuring unicorns and sword-wielding females. Feel free to stalk her online.
Wowza! I am hoping this is just the start of a new series!
This is the story of Emmy and Graham.
Both have had life-altering events that have happened to them and have caused them both to be relationship-adverse. However, they can’t seem to fight the way fate throws them together and the absolute chemistry between them.
Emmy is wonderful and she has my dream job!
Graham is the perfect blend of alpha and hero!
I loved the world that Ms. Madden-Mills has created with the Darling and Harlan families. Especially the bookstore. I want to live in a place that the author has created.
The secondary characters really bring a richness to the story and I hope that we get more stories about some of them.
Charlotte McDougal I hate him and I don’t even know his name.
The good news is my nemesis has made it abundantly clear the feeling is mutual. He did call me pretty, though, in the midst of a heated screaming match. Which would have been flattering, if I didn’t loathe him so much. But whatever. I don’t care how handsome he might be, or how charming the rest of the world probably finds him, guys who look like aged-out boy banders aren’t my type. Add to that, he’s got a knack for being in precisely the wrong place at the wrong time, and I was thrilled to march away from our angry skirmish and never see the b*stard with the piercing blue eyes, ever again.
It wasn’t meant to be, though. As it turns out, my sworn enemy is my new next-door neighbor. F*ck my life. Luckily, he’s got a big secret to keep, just like I do. He’s in a jam, and so am I. So, we’ve decided to put our differences aside long enough to resolve our respective predicaments. Of course, we’ve made it clear this is going to be a business arrangement and nothing more. A necessary means to an end. But when you’re forced to work closely with your sworn enemy, a guy who happens to be ridiculously attractive and surprisingly funny—when he actually starts to grow on you, much to your shock—keeping things strictly professional becomes easier said than done.
My Neighbor’s Secret is a funny, silly, zany, swoony, spicy, enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, standalone rom com that will keep you laughing, swooning, guessing, and fanning yourself, all the way to Charlotte and Auggie’s happily ever after.
Well Ms. Rowe, you have done it again! I absolutely fell hard and completely embraced this story from start to finish.
This is Auggie’s long-awaited story (well at least for me it was). I am always a sucker for the shy, quiet, nerdy types and Auggie doesn’t fail to deliver all the goods!
Charlotte is just the person Auggie needs to bring the sparkle and fun into his world.
Their meet-cute, wasn’t very pretty, in fact, it was downright vicious. But eventually, the heart wants what it wants and when Charlotte and Auggie come together, well it’s a house on fire with swoons, heat, and hilarity!
The mystery, the intrigue and the downright laughs you are going to get from this new story from Lauren Rowe is epic.

Word to the wise, never become roommates with a girl you’ve been pining over for the better part of a year.
You’re probably wondering why I would do such a thing? Well, I didn’t.
It was my teammates.
The moment they found out Blakely White was single, they took it upon themselves to play cupid and instruct me on how I should win her over.
Don’t wear a shirt around her. Make her dinner. Lightly touch her shoulder when you say goodbye.
I’m so flustered, so overwhelmed, so madly in love with this woman who barely notices me, that I lose control of the situation and make one huge mistake: I offer to be her fake date for a wedding so she can make her ex jealous.
That means, for one whole night I get a free pass with her. I get to hold her, dance with her, kiss her…stare at her from across the room like she’s my entire world because she has been for months now.
But when the night comes to an end, I’m faced with two options: bring her back to my bedroom and show her how I really feel, or let her walk away, succumbing to the fact that I very well might not be her type.

This is Halsey and Blakely’s story.
I am not gonna lie, this is a book for the ages! I laughed, I cried and I was melting at the chemistry between Halsey and Blakely.

Carolina was introducing him to his former fiancée.
Fine. Near fiancée. It had been a promise ring, not an engagement diamond, but still.
The run he’d just finished was apparently unnecessary from a cardio standpoint, since his heart was now racing, crashing into his ribs as if it were fleeing a crime scene. Not that he was the bad guy. But still.
Kari. No way.
It was his Kari. And okay, maybe she was never formally his fiancée, but until college and distance broke them up, they always planned on it. He’d given her a promise ring in high school, so that was close enough.
When Carolina had mentioned she was meeting two wedding professionals named Katie and Carrie, he’d heard it as the more familiar spelling. She’d never spelled it out, and she hadn’t bothered to tell him Kari’s last name.
“Caleb, have you swallowed your tongue along with your manners? Shake the poor woman’s hand, for goodness sake!” Carolina crooned, giving him side-eye while managing a puzzled smile at Kari as the two stood awkwardly in front of each other, gaping.
Kari had changed in some ways, for sure, but it was her, alright. Her brown hair was a darker shade but still thick and shiny, framed in soft layers around her face, brushing the edges of straight, strong shoulders. He recognized those whiskey brown eyes, deceptively sleepy unless you knew her, knew that behind them, her brain was working constantly at warp speed.
She was taller now–or anyway, she didn’t wear four-inch heels back then–so instead of having to bend to kiss her lips, he could just dip his head.
If he wanted to kiss her.
If wanting to kiss her wasn’t the only thing he could think about.
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Julia Kent writes romantic comedy with an edge. Since 2013, she has sold more than 2 million books, with 4 New York Times bestsellers and more than 21 appearances on the USA Today bestseller list. Her books have been translated into French, German, and Italian, with more titles releasing in the future.
From billionaires to BBWs to new adult rock stars, Julia finds a sensual, goofy joy in every contemporary romance she writes. Unlike Shannon from Shopping for a Billionaire, she did not meet her husband after dropping her phone in a men’s room toilet (and he isn’t a billionaire she met in a romantic comedy).
She lives in New England with her husband and three children where she is the only person in the household with the gene required to change empty toilet paper rolls.

YES!!! A new series by the talented Julia Kent! I am all over that like a bad rash!
The Wedding Protectors, an amazing business model, and a fantastic setup.
This is the story of one of the founders Kari and her foray into the world of the Micklemas family. Little does she know that an old flame is part of that.
Caleb Mickelmas is biting his tongue big time during the planning and coordination of the wedding between his brother and the mother of all bridezillas. A shining spot in this is seeing Kari again and trying to figure out what had gone wrong all those years ago.
As always you are going to get hilarity, heat, and oh the swoons with this new story. I loved seeing all the past characters make appearances. There are Easter eggs aplenty!
I am always happy after reading a Julia Kent story! I cannot wait for the next in this new series!
