I had the honor to meet this author a few years ago at an author event, and I am ashamed to say this is the first book I have read, but it certainly won’t be my last!

Set in the Smartypants Romance world this is the slow burn, swoony story of Hannah and Johnny.

Hannah is trying to reinvent herself, to move past the demons of her past and take care of her family.

Johnny is trying to kick start his career and starting a new adventure.

A chance meeting at a train stop and their worlds collide.

I was enamored with the story, the friendship that builds between Hannah and Johnny is beautiful to read. The slow burn of a blossoming love is written so vibrant and real.

I loved the spunkiness of Hannah, her wit was amazing and her fierce protectiveness of her and those close to her was fantastic.

Johnny is a swoony dish! He too is protective and he has a past with Hannah that they both have to work through.
