My Review...
This story, hell this whole series by Louise Bay is fun, smoking hot, and brilliantly English. I love the feeling I get when reading about England and London and the language of the Queen’s English every time!
This is the story of Hartford and Joshua. Growing up together was a very different experience for both of them. Joshua was always the outgoing prince charming, Hartford was the ugly duckling, wallflower (or so she thought).
Time and geography separate them, but meddling moms reunite them for a brief period as flatmates and neighbors.
Both Joshua and Hartford immerse themselves in their work and career to mask the scars of their pasts. I was charmed by the way that Hartford was able to break down Joshua’s walls with her honesty and her memory of them growing up.
Joshua was swoony personified, when he finally recognized his feelings for Hartford, he just cranked that swoon factor up to eleven.
It was fun to see past characters make their presence known and I so love this group of mates and the women who love them!
