My Review…
Right now I am slapping myself, why you ask? Because this is the first book by KC Enders that I have read and it was fantastic!! As of now, I have all the rest of her books on my Kindle, waiting to be read!
Even as a reader that isn’t really familiar with the world that Corinne Michaels has created (but I am going to remedy that soon too!) this story can be read as a total standalone. You are going to get invested hard with these characters and I was sad when the story was over! I wanted more!
This story of Chloe and Miles drew me in from the start! This is a story of loss and finding love again. I love how the universe was giving Chloe hints about her future!
Miles too has experienced a great and terrible loss, I was intrigued by the way that Ms. Enders slowly revealing Miles’ past, it made me as a reader focus more on the type of character of that Miles was. And he was swoony!!
There was a fresh sense of reality with this story, there was humor, heat and a whole lot of heart. Everything I love in a story! This gave me all the feels! I caught myself laughing and even crying a bit and that to me is a true testament of a well-written story.
Now I am going to go to Ms. Enders previous stories, pour myself a whiskey and get lost in the world that she has created!
