This is the story of Cyrus Reed, his kingdom and how he rules over it.
This story is also about Ivy and the light she brings into the darkness.
Cyrus is such a complex character. His past is riddled with heartbreak and violence. He is a scarred man, both inside and out, becoming the ruler he has now become. He is power personified and he rules his kingdom with an iron fist. It was lovely to read his interactions with Ivy and how she was able to shine some light in his dark, cold world.
Ivy is bright and beautiful, but she is also strong and fierce in her need for freedom. She becomes the soft place for Cyrus to fall into.
You get swoons, you get thrills and you get mystery in this newest story from Ms. Harrison and I fell in love with this story and this couple hard and fast!
