Everyone hates parts of their job.

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life — a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can’t forget that. She’s also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She’s been a wife, though she’s certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She’s also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she’s been drinking whiskey. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.

My Review…

I am absolutely in love with this series!!

Ms. Hart’s talent with words is out of this world.  I love the play on flower names in her titles and how relevant they are to each story!

Mum’s the Word is the story of Marcus and Maisie. A chance meeting, an instant bond and then to find out that the obstacles between the two of them is almost insurmountable.

Marcus has made it his mission to save his family’s business.  He will stop at nothing to beat the Bower family in a frivolous lawsuit brought against them.  He is the planner, the organizer, the straight-laced business genius.

Maisie has come home to once again be under her mother’s thumb.  To dance to her tune and play by her rules.  All Maisie wants is to be happy and to contribute something meaningful to the world.

Marcus and Maisie’s chemistry is beautiful to behold and steamy to read.  That first kiss between them has got to be one of the most swoony scenes I have read in a long time.

It’s lovely to see the whole Bennet family again!  It’s lovely to see the dynamics between all of them and how they stick up for each other!
