Conceal

Blurb:

I ran.

Escaped the man who wanted to hurt me.

I got in my car and drove.

No destination. No direction. No help.

I hid in the one place I would never be found.

Now in New York with no job, I didn’t know what to do.

Then I met him.

Jaxson Price.

The enigmatic devil, who wasn’t only above the law, but played it like a puppet.

He might be the answer to all my problems.

Too bad he’s asking for something in return for his help…

My heart.

My Review…

One of the best things about an Ava Harrison book is you never see what’s coming!

This is the story of Willow and Jaxson.

Willow is running for her life.  I love how Ms. Harrison doesn’t just come out and who and why she is running, but you can feel the terror and the need to flee that Willow has.  You can empathize with her need to get away and start somewhere new and try to find a way to justice.  A chance meeting with Jaxson Pierce may be the answer to her dilemma. I admired Willow’s inner strength and her need to better herself and search for the truth.

Jaxson is so misunderstood by his family.  I was cheering hard for him. And I swooned over his need to help Willow.  I also loved how Willow was able to really “see” Jaxson and the friendship that developed.

The twists and turns in this story kept me turning the pages to see what happens next.  Ms. Harrison never fails to surprise me with her bombshells!

If you are looking for a fantastic story of friendship, love and saving yourself, look no further than this story!
