Oh my! What a swoony start to the new series by Kendall Ryan! Hot jocks indeed!
Hockey players? Yes please!
This is Justin and Elise’s story. A best friend’s little sister romance.
I enjoyed the history that Justin and Elise have, they have know each other most of their lives.
Justin has some skewed views on relationships and love in general and his past doesn’t help his views either. But with his history with Elise, he can see and feel that what they have is something more, something real, something honest.
Elise has had a hidden crush on Justin since forever! But her vulnerability and fear has always taken charge and told her no, no way.
The chemistry between these two is unbelievably fantastic! I swooned at Justin’s attempts at “romance” and I applauded Elise’s strength when it came to proving Justin wrong!
The secondary characters are so ripe for their own stories and I can’t wait to read Owen’s next!!
