Rule #1 Don’t get hit by your own arrow.
sext, or apology letter so epic that your other half will forget you hesitated a beat too long when you asked, ‘does this make me look fat?’? I’ve got you covered. But when my most frequent client, the annoyingly charming (or is that charmingly annoying?) Dylan Griffin comes to me with an unconventional new job, I discover that three little words can add up to one BIG complication…
and he’s prepared to make it worth my while. Throw in a summer Catskills trip that’s equal parts ‘Dirty Dancing’ and dirty-talking, and this Cupid is soon out of her depth – and head over heels with the last man I expected. But can I find the right words when it comes to my own heart? Or will this happily ever end in disaster?
My Review…
Oh yes!! A brand new series from Ms. Monroe!!
A modern take on Cyrano, with a bit of a twist.
This is Poppy and Dylan’s story. Poppy is a modern day Cyrano. And her top client is Dylan.
As with all of Ms. Monroe’s stories, you are going to laugh, you are gonna get a little misty and you are gonna swoon!
I so enjoyed Poppy, she is like the best friend I wish I had. She felt real and imperfectly perfect. She didn’t apologize for her “shortcomings” heck, she embraced them and made them rock!
Dylan is a blind fool! He is the meaning of the saying “You can’t see the forest through the trees”. But he redeems himself beautifully albeit almost too late, but that’s just the bit of angst that I enjoy in a story.
I was so excited to see this new series from Ms. Monroe and I cannot wait to see who’s story she comes out with next!
