Synopsis

I am so glad I got the opportunity to read and review this story in preparation for Buzz (her next book releasing on April 1).

Another new to me author and this story is a breath of fresh air.

The Honey Trap is the story of Sophia and Mason.

Sophia is a professional honey trap.  She is hired to catch cheaters and she is very good at her job.  Sophia has a reason for her chosen profession, a chance for vengeance perhaps? When she meets her next assignment, Mason…well things are not what they seem and she has a crisis of conscience.

Mason is trying to start anew, let the past be in the past.  But things and people are keeping him from moving forward to the future.  He sees a future with Sophia, but is that the truth?

Mason & Sophia’s chemistry is a beautiful slow burn.  Between Mason’s privacy and his soon to be ex-wife and Sophia’s struggle to come clean and be honest with Mason their relationship was fun to read.

I loved the little hints of other romance books in this story! From the movies to Sophia’s friend Lori who is a much of a book lover as I am. The secondary characters bring a hilarity to this story.  I cannot wait to see more of Lori and Buzz in the next story!

If you are looking for a lovely romance with a bit of comedy, some fun little hints of other fantastic romance books and lots of heart, get your hands on this!
