I’m used to being in charge.
In the courtroom. In life. In the bedroom.
But then I met him.
He brings me literally to my knees.
Handsome. Charismatic. Sexy as hell.
He’s everything I desperately crave to possess.
I’m burning to get him beneath me just to have a taste.
Turns out, though, one taste isn’t enough.
And he’s starved for me too.
Two alphas fighting for dominance.
He thrives on control and I can’t give it up.
A battle of wills.
The bedroom is the battlefield and our hearts are on the line.

Whew! I have been waiting for this book. I wanted to read more about Dane. He was such a fantastic secondary character and I am glad that Ms. Webster decided to give us more!
And more she did! I am going to admit this. I am just now getting into the whole M/M genre. And I am making sure that I read fantastic authors to introduce me to that!
Dane has been living the “straight” life for a long, long time. He has the job, he had the wife and daughter. But was he truly happy? Was he being true to himself?
Nick is such a breath of fresh air. He embraces who he is despite the ugliness of his father. He is young and I felt like he was still trying to gain his father’s approval. But I am glad that he saw beyond that.
Dane and Nick’s chemistry is wowza hot! The steaminess is classic K. and she doesn’t disappoint, nor does she go so over the top that some M/M authors do. It was just the right kind of heat.
This story has heart and it also has a love that knows no boundaries. It was well written and I loved it!
