If she’d needed a day or two in bed, upset and processing and obsessively looking through pictures of the event on social media, what would that have mattered?

My Review…

Ever since I saw Laurelin posting about another book in the Fixed series, I have been on tenterhooks! I could not wait to get my hands on this!

It was soooo worth the wait!

This story brings back all the magic of Hudson and Alayna!

This story is everything you love about Laurelin’s style!

There is love, there is mystery and intrigue. It was like going to a family reunion that you actually wanted to attend!

You get to read that even though years have passed, families have grown and new alliances have been precariously drawn, Hudson and Alayna are still very much in love and lust.

You also read that sometimes old habits are hard to break for both Hudson and Alayna. But they still persevere and thrive in the love and trust they have in each other.

You read that their chemistry is still off the charts, white hot. Even after children which gives us hope as mere mortals!

There is mystery and suspense that Laurelin is a master of. Just giving us bits and pieces of hints. She doesn’t give anything away until she is damn good and ready!

Like all of her books, you need to read slowly (even though it’s hard!) and savor the words, like fine wine. You will miss so much, miss the clues and hints if you go at the story like gangbusters.

I am so honored to have had the opportunity to read and review this book! This and all of her Fixed series are MUST READS!
