I am embarrassed to admit that this is the first book by Jacob that I have read. I know, I know, let the public shaming commence! If I gauge his previous books to this one, you can bet your sweet a&& I will be going back and reading more!
There is so few male romance writers out there I have been lucky to have been able to read some fantastic works and Jacob is right up there with the best of them!
This story is about Zoe and Nash, when they first meet under horrible circumstances, you can feel the chemistry between them and when they meet again years later, well the fire between them is alive and well!
This was an action packed story with just the right touch of romance, neither one is overwhelming. It’s the perfect blend.
Zoe is wise beyond her years and what she witnesses just makes her grow up all the faster. She is fierce, she is independent but has that vulnerability that will stay with her forever.
Nash is the perfect alpha hero, he is protective, swoony and goes after what he wants.
There are twists and turns that will keep you guessing till the end of the book. I am hoping to see more from the secondary characters (hint, hint…Belfast and Grace) read the story and you will agree!
I am so glad to have had the opportunity to read this story and you have a new fan in me Jacob! Well done! I tip my proverbial hat to you sir!
