My Review…

This final book in the Do-Over series is bittersweet to me! I loved all these books and this final story of Hastings (the gal you loved to hate) and Ian was fabulous.

Ms. Kent has the writing chops to take a character that seemed to have no redeeming qualities in the previous books and brought your thinking around. Not only did Ms. Kent make Hasty redeemable, but also admirable.

Ian is just a true knight in stellar armor! He is a financial wunderkind and likes to do things on the down-low. Like helping Hastings when she feels like there is no one left.

The sparks between Ian and Hasty are hotter than the hinges on hades gate! I loved the directness of both of them, it was refreshing to read.

I loved the twists and turns that this story took. This was a fast-paced read for me that I couldn’t put down until the end. And what a beautiful ending it was, to the story and to the series!

Oh holy swooniness Fish!

This is the sweet, sweet story of Fish and Ally.

If you have read any of Ms. Rowe’s books, you know Fish is the adorkable bass player from 22 Goats. I love his quirks and how he stands up for the members of his band. He is wanting more than just the rock-star life, he wants what his other friends and bandmates have. A love that is true and strong and will love Fish for the Matt that he is.

Alessandra is a budding singer, enrolled in a prestigious college and wanting to have the world hear her music, despite her extreme shyness and stage fright. Meeting one of her idols at a music party, she finds out there is more to Fish than just being a Goat, he is everything she never knew she wanted in a friend, a partner and a loverrrr!

I absolutely love this story and seeing past characters make appearances. I love the camaraderie between everyone. The dialogue, the conversations were epic and bring you right back into the crazy music world that Ms. Rowe has created!

If you are looking for a swoony love story, full of heart, heat and laughter, look no further!

Another fun new story from the mind of Ms. Blakely.

First off, I loved the multiple POV’s, they were surprising and so funny!

This story of Logan and Bryn is a fast-paced, couldn’t put down story until the very end!

Logan is a single dad, he went through a messy, yet amicable divorce but it has left him with some scars and trust issues. But a chance encounter, a meet-cute over a Joe Cool lunchbox, makes him hopeful again.

Bryn is a lady boss like no other! She also has had a messy divorce that has left her relying on the memories and sayings of her mom to get her through her shattered trust and vulnerabilities.

The chemistry between Logan and Bryn is hotter than a house on fire and the smexy times between them made me grab my proverbial pearls and silk fan to cool off!

I am always entertained and swooned by Ms. Blakely’s stories!

The Baileys

Gahhhhh!! Another stellar story from the minds of Piper and Rayne! I absolutely love the world they have created with Lake Starlight and the Bailey family!

Kingston and Stella! Their story has intrigued me since Piper Rayne started dropping hints about them in the previous books in the series.

The roadblocks that both Kingston and Stella had in front of them and how they were able to break down the barriers between them were spectacular.

The history between King and Stella was rich and moving. It made my heart melt and swoon. Reading about them seeing each other again was so inspiring and I couldn’t put this book down till the very end!

I admired the fact that King and Stella were an interracial couple. Love knows no color or creed, the heart wants what it wants and two souls shouldn’t be separated because of it! This story is doesn’t focus on race, it focuses on love and being with your soul mate.

As always, there are surprises aplenty and I was gasping when I read them! I am hoping with Sedona’s story next, we will find out who is behind the Buzzwheel!!

My Review…

I have to say as a vintage gal myself, I love this trope! The younger man, older woman dynamic is intriguing to me and makes me feel a bit better when I check out a younger fella! My favorite saying is “Just because I am on a diet, doesn’t mean I can look at the dessert tray!!”

This is the lovely story of Griffin and Layne.

Layne is a powerhouse! She is excelling in her career and makes no apologies about it. I admired her independence and her fierceness in her field. Making her way on her own terms. When she first meets Griffin, she likes what she sees, but feels there is no future in such a younger fella.

Griffin is just swoon central! He may be young, but he knows what he wants. He will take Layne any way he can get her. Even to the detriment of his heart.

Griffin and Layne’s relationship is white hot and Ms. Ryan writes some of the best smexy scenes I have ever read!

This standalone is fantastic!

A Rivers Wilde Novel

Yes, yes, oh my me, YES!! A new story set in the Rivers Wilde world! I, myself, like probably all the other readers that follow me have been waiting, with baited breath for Regan’s story. And Ms. Allen does not disappoint!

Regan and Stone’s story is a lifetime long, and Ms. Allen has made this story encompass all the years between them beautifully.

I loved reading of the revolution of Regan, from her early days, daring and finding her voice, the time when she had to temper her truth, bite her tongue and suffer in silence, to the full circle moments with Stone, finding and loving herself again.

Stone, this man is truly an old soul. He is at genius levels and knowing that his heart was as smart as his brain was the definition of swoon. How he fought when he could and his tenacity was a thing of legend.

Ms. Allen has a magic to her writing. She invites you to learn, to want to find out more and she does this while also writing a love story for the ages!
