Welcome back to Sterling Falls and the Sylver family.

This is the story of the youngest Slyver sibling, Valentine. This is the story of first loves, broken dreams, and forgiveness.

Vale is doing the single mom job with love, doing the complete opposite of what she experienced in her childhood. The scars she carries from her past make her the woman she is today.

Cortland is existing, he gave up on happiness and life a long time ago. His past mistakes continue to haunt him, and when he comes into contact with Vale again, he can’t help but become like a honeybee to a flower, hovering around Vale.

A shared childhood, a disastrous past, and finding a new beginning are the hallmarks of this story.

I admired Ms. Dunbar’s sensitivity to a subject that is rarely spoken of and seldom discussed. It shows the range and talent that Ms. Dunbar continues to show to her readers.

I love this family, I love the town of Sterling Falls, and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

My Review...

This has got to be one of the hands-down best summer read I have gotten my hands on in a looong while!

I laughed, I swooned and I fell in flove with Scottie and Wilder, I actually fell hard for every character in this book. In fact, I can safely say this story is going to go in my re-read rotation (and that’s a hard rotation to get into, at least in my world).

This story of Wilder and Scottie is just amazing.

Scottie is learning that sometimes her mouth is writing checks that her mind and body can’t cash. She finds herself in a situation that really blows up her world view, and it makes her realize her worth as a person.

Wilder, oh you beautiful, filthy man. I love his take on the world, his “always say yes” attitude, and the positivity he brings into Scottie’s life.

I loved the quirks of each of the characters, even the secondary ones and could see myself fully submerged in the world that Ms. Quinn creates for her readers.

I am huge fan of Ms. Quinn’s, I thought that nothing could top my fave book of hers, “Dear Life”. Now I can say that this is going to be on the top of my favorite books by Meghan Quinn.

Wowza! What a finale to this mind-twisting series!

You get your answers, you get some serious comeuppance and revenge, you get it all in this story.

Caius and Romy have gone through all the pits of hell for each other, and do they get their happily ever after?

You see characters from a previous series make their presence known and even if you haven’t read it, you will get to know these characters and how much they bring to this.

This is a story you won’t be able to put down until the very end, and when you do, you will still be thinking about it after it’s done. This series will definitely get a re-read in the future from me!

Every time I get the chance to read a new Chelle Sloan story, I think to myself, there is no way she is gonna top her last book and boom, she blows that thinking out of the water.

This newest story from Chelle Sloan is going to keep you glued to the pages.

Welcome back to Rolling Hills and to the Banks family.

This is Quinn and Porter’s story, and what a whirlwind of a romance this is.

Quinn is the middle Banks sibling and she checks all the boxes for being the middle child. She is also my spirit animal, she is my new book bestie and I fell hard for her. She uses humor to deflect from the barbs and arrows that are thrown at her for practically her whole life. And when Porter comes into her world, a long time ago, she doesn’t believe that he could really want her.

Porter, uff-da (that’s the Minnesotan coming out of me) what a hero! He is dealing with some emotional scars from his past that has shaped who he is today. But when it comes to Quinn, he can tell his armor plated heart is cracking hard for her.

Holy hotness Ms. Hollyfield!

Talk about keeping a reader on the edge of their seat.

Forbidden affairs, family dysfunction, and holy smokin’ hot scenes. That’s what you are gonna get with this new story.

Georgia is a scarred heroine; she is young, but I feel she has an old soul. When an opportunity comes to keep her far from home for the summer, she jumps at the chance, even if she has to put up with her ex in the process.

Jackson, wowwee…this fella has the alphahole title in spades!

I like how Georgia seems to soften Jackson’s edges, but also is able to give him what he needs.

There is mystery, thrills and intrigue aplenty in this new story, and I was guessing till the end!

Every Staci Hart novel is so worth the wait!

This second story of the new interconnected series is white hot! I have found a new trope to love, the down-bad hero!

This is the story of Cassie and Wilder, childhood sweethearts, a wild night in Vegas, and some forgotten paperwork is just the start of the whirlwind relationship between these two.

Cassie is trying to find herself after being jilted at the altar. When her long-ago past comes back into her life, she does what she needs to do to help.

Wilder is just the swooniest! He knows he has done wrong and will do whatever he needs to do to keep Cassie in his world.

Full of heart, heat, and swoons, this story had me glued to the pages, and I was sad when it ended. It was fabulous to see past characters make their appearances known and bring more to the story!

I cannot wait to see what comes next from this cast of characters!

Yee haw! What an introduction to a new series, Cloverleaf Meadows, by Harloe Rae!

This is the story of Brody and Paisley, and what a wild ride they are.

Reading this story brought me back to the days when I was younger and used to barrel race my little quarterhorse mare Windy at the 4-H rodeos. Now, obviously, I wasn’t lusting after cowboys back then, but it was nostalgic all the same.

This fast-paced, grumpy/sunshine romance had me turning the pages until the end. I loved the dynamic between Brody and Paisley, and their whirlwind relationship is swoony as all get out.

Brody is broody and feels the weight of the world and his family ranch on his shoulders. The unfortunate passing of the family matriarch makes him feel this weight even more.

Paisley is Twinkles in every sense of the word. She does her best to help her best friend move past the grief of losing her mom, and in doing so, she puts her in Brody’s path.

This is a fantastic introduction to a new cast of characters, and I cannot wait to see what comes next from the world that Ms. Rae has created!

Also, the ridiculous company that wrote up a reputation repair report for the newest member of the Chicago Anchors which includes:

Welcome to another season of Anchors baseball!

This story of Bolan and Ruthie is a bit of a slow burn, but it has wicked hot chemistry and a love story that checks all my boxes.

I love that Bolan is a bit of a wild card. I admire how he recognizes his limitations and works hard to stay on the straight path with his new family.

Ruthie is trying hard to break free from her past. She is a caring person who loves hard but struggles with issues that have made her who she is.

I fell hard for both Bolan and Ruthie. Their chemistry is epic, and I love the physicality of it.

The nicknames that Bolan has for his famiy is so spot on and so dang cute it’s hard not to fall in love with him.

As a long-time fan of Ms. Dunbar, I was lovely to see past characters from different series make appearances. It absolutely doesn’t detract from Ruthie and Bolan’s story; it just enhances it.

If you are looking for your next home run read, get your hands on this story!

Gahh, this series! I absolutely love the Bridesmaid for Hire series, and this one has got to be the funniest and most angsty.

This is Hudson and Sloane’s story, and wowza, what an adventure!

Hudson suffers from the typical oldest sibling syndrome. He is always putting his siblings and, honestly, everyone else before himself. He is a protector down to the very deepest part of him, and he doesn’t know what to do about the feelings and thoughts he starts to have for his best friend and business partner’s younger sister.

Sloane is trying to figure out her way in the world, and when her older brother lands her a sweet assistant job, she jumps at the chance. Who wouldn’t want to work with the dreamy-looking Hudson Hopper? Age is but a number with this witty, sarcastic dynamo, and she makes no never mind of the age difference between her and Hudson.

From the stuffy office to the beautiful city of London, you get a whirlwind of hijinks! One of my absolute favorite scenes in all of Meghan’s stories happens here with Hudson and Sloane and the etiquette lesson! (Trust me, you are going to laugh till you cry!)

If you are looking for heart, heat, hilarity, and just the right amount of angst to keep you cheering on your new favorite couple, look no further!
