My Review...

I am so in love with the Blum sisters! And is there any way I can live in Lindenbach? The town and people that Ms. Hart creates is absolutely perfect. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows, but when the going gets tough the town comes together like a perfect world should.

I also admire how Ms. Hart puts a bit of social awareness and true humanity in her stories, it makes you want to be a better person and a better member of society.

Oh and let me not forget the best part, the swoony love story between Daisy and Keaton! 

Daisy is the oldest and most serene of the Blum sisters, she has learned to “grin and bear it”. She has lost something so profound, she feels that she will never find it again. But when she looks closely at Keaton, she sees the same thing in him.

Keaton has also lost something that changed him. He has become a “still waters run deep” kind of fella and he is just living life, giving everything to make sure his family legacy stays afloat. 

The ease and understanding that Daisy and Keaton have is breathless and oh my me the swoons aplenty. It was perfect reading how the relationship grew between them and how they tried to deal with the bumps in the road on the way to true happiness.

Cheers to the little tidbits of hints as who can be Poppy’s interest in the next book in this series! I cannot wait!

I tip her chin up and lean in, bringing our lips together for the hundredth time tonight.

“I’m going to miss you so fucking much.”

My voice cracks, and she runs her hands through my hair, trying to soothe me. “I’m going to miss you too, but it’s only a few months. We’re different now then we were then. We love each other and have thought this through. We’ve got this. You and me. September will be here before we know it.”

Her words are strong. Confident.

She believes in us. She believes in our love.

Nashville Fury

Oh, this story was so worth the wait!

This next book in the Nashville Fury football team series is Bryce and Lucy’s book and what a whirlwind of swoons, angst, and all the feels!

Bryce and Lucy have been through the years together, first as friends with always a promise more. I could understand and even feel the co-dependency of their relationship at the beginning and I applauded and had a go-girl moment when Lucy knew to say no more.

Bryce needs Lucy to calm his chaos, to quiet the storm. He promises the world to her if she will just wait till the off season of football. From high school, college, and the pro leagues, this is what he keeps promising her. 

I fell hard for both of these characters, Lucy for finally finding her inner strength and for Bryce for finally getting his priorities straight and for gathering the courage he needed to fight his inner demons and get the help he needed.

I cannot wait for more from this author and this series, each book hooks me just a little bit more! Well done Chelle!

Welcome to the Chance family!

This multiple POV story grabs you by the heart and keeps you entertained until the very end kind of the story. An absolute true testament to the amazing mind and phenomenal writing talent of Meghan Quinn!

This story is set in the fictional town of Marina Island. A town so well described that I want to live there! I want to shop at Chance family store and legacy Watchful Wanderers. I want to be a part of the Chance family!

Palmer, Cooper, Ford, Dr. Beau, Nora, and Larkin all play roles in this romantical story about coming home again, family secrets, and coming together as a family. Each character has their own voice, spark and each of them puts their own spin on the family drama that unfolds.

There are ups and downs; there is angst and hilarity aplenty. The multiple POVs are written seamlessly, and the story flows smoothly.  I was sad when this story was over.  I want to visit with the whole family some more.

Ms. Quinn never fails to slay me with her stories; she is a definite “one-click” author for me.

My Review...

It’s always bittersweet when you read the final story in a series and this story is ranks right up there.

This is the story of Oliver and Maren. 

Oliver is the last of the Parkerson’s. He is done with love and being a second choice. He has committed himself to be the bachelor, the fun uncle, with a devil may care attitude. But deep down, he is willing to do just about anything for those he cares about. And he is tested with that when he sees an old college friend Maren.

Maren is a analytical gal. She loves her pros and cons lists. Her job makes her see all the risks and works accordingly. When faced with a heartbreaking, life changing situation, she will do whatever she needs to to make her loved one happy.

I so love the way that Ms. Micheals creates her worlds. I loved the flow of the relationship between Maren and Oliver. I loved the angst, the heart wrenching moments really made me feel. I loved seeing past characters make their voices known and I absolutely loved this family and this series!

Do yourself a favor and immerse yourself in this world of the Parkerson family by Ms. Michaels, you won’t regret it.

This story was so worth the wait! I have so enjoyed Ms. Easton’s story from the first and this story is no exception.

This is the story of Lou and Thomas and what a wild ride they have.

I love Lou’s quirkiness; I love that she marches to the beat of her own drum and doesn’t apologize for it. She is trying hard to push for some normalcy, some stability that she feels she lacked as a child. She is molded by the passing of her father and her commune living mother. She finds her escape in art and reading her favorite author’s books.

Enter Thomas, an award-winning writer, looks like he has it all put together in his posh world. But does he really? He puts on an upper-crust British persona that masks the emptiness he feels but doesn’t realize it until the whirlwind of Lou comes into his life.

I absolutely loved the secondary characters, the patients Lou treats and the interaction between every character in this story.

There is humor, heart and lots of heat in this story and I was entertained and enthralled with this story until the end.  Get your hands on this!

My Review...

I am so in love with this series!

This is the story of Zack and Autumn. The interconnections and small-world feel of this series is brilliant! 

Both Zack and Autumn have scars from their pasts. I enjoyed how they understood each other. They can both empathize with each other and both have similar pasts that they are trying to push through.

Autumn is surviving, but she wants to thrive and doesn’t really know what she needs until Zack comes into her world. 

Zack is overcoming the past, he seeing the forest through the trees

The flow and timeline of this story was perfect, I like how the time passes in the world Ms. Burgoa creates, it makes the story even more realistic. It shows that love sometimes doesn’t happen overnight. Happily ever after takes time and patience. And I flove that. 

I also enjoyed the bit of “Sleepless in Seattle” spin to the story, I loved the movie and this story is spot on.

I also was excited to see past characters make appearances that just enhanced the story even more!

I love these families and I hope there is more to come!

My Review...

The queen of over 40 romance does it again! I was blown away by this new story and start of a new series!

This is the story of Tucker and Mae. This is a story of finding yourself even after the years have gone by. This is a story of reinventing yourself no matter what your age is! This is a story of finding your passion again, by way of self-discovery and love.

Mae is determined to find herself on the historic Route 66, she has hushed the naysayers and is going for herself. Even with the crappy hand life has given her up until now, she still has the courage to stay upbeat and find her glow again.

Tucker gave up his younger dreams to stand by his family and fulfill his legacy. He has had the weight of the world on his shoulders for so long, he doesn’t even realize how bitter he has become until a ray of sunshine shines on him and takes him on a road trip to find his passion and find the soul mate he didn’t know he was craving.

I absolutely fell in love with this couple, and while I haven’t traveled the whole of Route 66, I have experienced many of the stops along Tucker and Mae’s way. I was totally invested in them both and cheered hard for them to get their happy back.

I loved seeing past characters make their appearances known and I love how “small” Tucker and Mae’s world really was.

What a absolutely amazing story! I cannot wait to read more from this family!

Oh my! I got excited to see a new series by Ms. Monroe and this first story in the series starts it off with a swoon!

This is the story of Charlie and Grace. A story of high school crushes and how to get over being let down by the ones closest to you.

Grace is trying to recover from a horrible betrayal. She is finding her footing the best way she knows how, and is just getting by until calamity has her going down a different path for a while. Can she keep professional? Read and see!

Charlie has secrets, some that aren’t revealed until later in the story, but when they are revealed, it explains so much of why he is the way he is.  When he tries to make up for the mistake he had with Grace, he gets more than he bargains for and it makes him scared.

A summer weddings abound for Charlie and when he hires Grace to be his plus one, the sparks fly. 

You get humor, heart and heat in this story and I can’t wait to see the other bachelors meet their matches!

My Review...

I will admit that YA is usually not my go-to trope. But I have to say that this new story by Carrie Aarons really grabbed me from the start.

I loved how this story started, it jumps right into the mix. No draw up, no long back story that trudges along. You get to the heart of the story within the first couple of chapters and then you get the backstory in the mix, which I really enjoyed.

This story of lifelong best friends, Amelie and Gannon. This is a slow burn story of unrequited love and how it affects each character. 

Amelie is trying hard to get over her feelings for Gannon, she doesn’t want to jeopardize their friendship. But her heart wants what her heart wants and that is Gannon.  

Gannon is trying to also keep his feeling about Amelie locked down, for completely different reasons. 

To read the push and pull of the chemistry between this two kept me riveted. Their age and stage in life took a back seat in this story and it was something that appreciated.

Now I will have to go back and read this first book in the series so I can get a true appreciation for all the secondary characters and I am looking forward to see what comes next!

Now this book can totally be read as a stand-alone, but listen dear followers….Read this whole series to fully immerse yourself in the hilariously, smoking hot goodness that is Julia Kent!
