Wowza! This new story from the talented and spicy mind of Helena Hunting will have you looking for your proverbial fainting couch and smelling salts!
This is the story of Rix and Tristian.
I could really empathize with Rix, even with the age gap that she and I have. I remember having the same hang-ups that she has and how I grew somewhat from them. I can understand her and her brother’s financial need for stability and applaud her for it.
Tristian is a man’s man. But the inside him beats the heart and soul of a much younger boy. Family history really did a number to stop his emotional growth and it takes someone like Rix to help.
There is a thin line between love and hate with Rix and Tristan, with some hella hot smexy times and a large number of roadblocks that make them swerve and come out the other side of a more healthy relationship.
I couldn’t put this book down once I started (much to my hubby’s grumbling). I can’t wait to see more from the whole cast of characters in this new world that Ms. Hunting has created!
