My Review...
What is it about these McCord men that just make me melt?!?
Just when I think Ms. Geissinger cannot write a better hero, she blows that thought right out of the water.
This is the story of Cord and Shay.
Cord is the middle child of the McCord family and the CFO of McCord Media, but he is so much more. The bits of mystery that cling to him just make the smoke show that he is even hotter. He is a pro at keeping people at arms length and feels its for the best, but is that truly what is best for himself? No, no it’s not and boy does Shay send his controlled world spinning.
Shay is a heroine I can cheer for. She is absolutely my spirit animal and I so want to be like her when I grow up. (Yeah I am considered vintage, but do we ever stop growing?) She has had some bruising around her heart but she has come out stronger for it. And boy does she give Cole a run for his money! Loved it!
Now I am praying for Carter’s book…I loved the bits of him that were in this story, but I really need more.
