Meet Karla Sorensen
I am obsessed with Outlander (both the books and the show). I’m almost exclusively a romance reader, which means some people will never consider me a literary snob.
If I could meet one historical figure, it would be Jane Austen. I received my Bachelors in Public Relations and worked in health care marketing before I had my babies.
I hate Twitter. I do it, but I hate it. Also, if you want to get on my good side, bring me wine and I’ll love you forever.

My Review...
I am becoming a hard-core fan girl for Ms. Sorensen and I’ll tell you why.
Stories, like this one. Part of an interconnected series, but can totally be read as a stand alone. I am woefully late on reading this fantastic author, so I have a heck of a TBR list for her, but I am on a mission.
This story of Adaline and Emmett is brilliantly sweet, smexy, heartfelt and swoony. All the things I love in a romance. Ms. Sorensen brings it in hearts (not spades)!
Adaline is such an interesting character, I loved her inner dialogue, her almost non-existing filter when it comes to words and feelings, and her bravery when it comes to her family and what she wants in her world.
Emmett…oh my swoonfest! I fell hard for this strapping fella as soon as he made his intentions known.
I like the fact that both of the families supported them and there was no backlash or not with my sister moments. I love how both the Wards and the Wilders came together when needed. I loved the bits of shenanigans that both families played to get Adaline and Emmett together.
Whether starting reading this author or a long-time follower. Get your hands on this!
