My Review!

Wow, this story was so gripping! When you are reading it you know something happened, it hovers in the shadows. You get small glimpses of it when while you are reading. But you never truly see it until the end, which then becomes clear.

This story is more than just about Dean and Allison, it’s about so much more. Yes there is some sexual moments, and while they are smoking hot, it’s so much more about the feelings and the guilt and judgement that is so poignant. Dean and Allison’s chemistry is off the charts and I loved their interaction. I liked the alternate POV’s to see just how damaged and alike they both were.

Something that Allison thinks, really struck home with me “It’s why I like to read thrillers and dark romances. No matter how bad it gets, when it end, usually there is a happily ever after…” That’s what this story is a dark romance with not necessarily a happily ever after but definitely and ever after with the hope and happiness a work in progress. That to me makes a story really stand out!
